Well the first that comes to mind is the Jiri Fischer incident. I don't know the relative medical severity of their heart conditions but hopefully he is able to come back and play.

Good to hear Peverley will be ok. Obviously, that's likely the end of his career. Not really relevant but my cousin is childhood friends with him and was the best man in his wedding I believe.

Sometimes people just have huge breakouts. I play as a GM in a 30 person OOTP league and last year Trevor Plouffe had 47 HRs for me and was an MVP candidate.

In the video description it says "#Bluejays" despite being uploaded in december. Probably the uploader has just changed the description yesterday or today but it's a bit curious. Maybe they've had a verbal agreement with him for a while or something.
