  1. Did I mention Morris or are you hallucinating again?
  2. Bahaha, using Buck to back anything up better involve abusing alcohol and moonshine.
  3. Is it just me or Does Melky run like he was raped last night by Ron Jeremy? The route he took on that supposed double by that no name guy made me burst out laughing. He looks like his piles must be rubbing against his nuts. Frustrating to see this team give their starter a 4 run lead, only to have him come out and pitch like he's a complete f***ing moron. I'm getting to the point where I'd rather not see this idiot pitch again in the near future.
  4. Yeah, put Boni out there, they'll be too busy laughing at his dumb f***ing zorro sign and if you keep his stats up on the board, at those too.
  5. Boni makes me laugh, about the worst hitter I've ever seen. Kinda reminds me of Damaso Garcia swinging at balls in the dirt with his eyes closed and this dumb f***ing look on his face.
  6. JJ USED to be a stud and he is certainly not anymore. I've watched this guy pitched easily 70 plus games and he's not even a shell of his former self. His velocity is down about 3 ticks or so, but that's the least of his problems. To be quite honest, I see the "romero" syndrome in him although not as exaggerated. He became so used to getting no run support that he's got it in his head that he has to be perfect and as soon as someone hit him hard, he completely falls apart. I watched him do it a dozen times last year. In the games where his command was good and the team scored for him, he didn't get rattled and he was able to get through with good pitch counts. As soon as he gave up a few hard hit balls or a long homerun, he fell apart mentally completely. That last inning after the Cruz homerun, he threw over 20 pitches to get an out of of .200 hitters and Thole had to stand up at least three times to even catch his fastball. He is a disaster waiting to happen and I really hope that we don't resign him unless he willing to sign for 6 million a year as our no. 5. Other than that, I'd say goodbye and good riddance.
  7. Yep, and this is the guy we want protecting our hottest hitter right now. Runners on first and third with 1 out and he's still pulling his head off and trying to yank everything into left. when all he has to do is hit a lazy fly ball to center field and it's 4-0. Ridiculous at how sickeningly bad this guy is at the basic fundamentals of this game. His pitch framing is amongst the worst I've ever seen and makes me laugh out loud at times. He stabs downwards and takes obvious pitch track strikes and get s his pitcher an automatic ball call. On top of that, I've never seen a pro who still cannot get down and block balls to his right whatsoever. He still doesn't even have the basic mechanics to alloow him to get into the proper position. I'm f***ing appalled at how this guy is allowed to play pro ball as a postion player.
  8. Yeah, da man swinging for the fences in a situation where he needs any base hit anywhere to win the game for his team. Guy goes from red hot to a 2 for 33 slot, the kind of consistency we need to get back in this thing. Aside from that, this team sorely needs a new manager. This idiot f***in hillbilly has to be the dumbest motherf***er I've ever seen to be allowed to be associated with any sports franchise on the f***ing planet.
  9. What kind of manager puts a guy into a game, his first game back in 2 years? Seriously, who the f*** does this? Can this hick really be this stupid? You don't put a f***in guy in his first game back into a position where he feels pressure like that. Has gotta be one of the single most stupid f***in moves I've seen any professional manager make in any sport, ever. And not to bag on Casey, but wtg buddy!! A game that could give the team a huge boost in confidence, beat Darvish to boot and you can't get the ball down to one single hitter. f***ing beautiful buddy, just when we needed it! This team is tits up f***ed horrible....luck, cursed, horrendous f***ing defense, a joke for a manger, you name it, this team has it. I haven't seen a bunch of clusterf*** losers like this in a long long time. They don't even have the professionalism to know what they have to do as a situational hitter in just about any situation. I really don't know if that is the hitter not doing as he's instructed or just a poor f***ing approach but this far into the season, I'm amazed that things aren't even close to coming together. JPA has to be the single worst situational hitter I have ever seen in my life, to go along with being the worst catcher I've ever had the displeasure to witness. Sorry for the rant, I'm just very confused and disappointed at how bad this team really is.
  10. Sorry, I put my thoughts in the game day thread. I think putting Cecil in our rotation is a no brainer. With Oliver back and perez and loup down there, 4 lefties is overkill and a waste of roster spots. With that said, I thin both Perez and Loup are good enough to stay, making Cecil much more valuable to stability in our rotation. I hear the don't f*** with a good thing stuff, but the guy has experience and he adds a HUGE needed injection of stability to our rotation. This game is about winning....and I'd rather have Cecil starting over the host of clusterf***s that have blown up our rotation already. Leave Jenkins until Morrow gets back, but if Cecil can get into our rotation and give us some quality starts, they have to try it. And right now, there's no reason to think he can't with his stuff right now. He got lazy and lost his velocity and delivery over an off season, but hopefully he has learned from that. I simply can't justify starting guys in that spot who will automatically tax your bullpen even if they do well, over a guy who has already won 13 games at that postion over a full season recently, it makes no sense. I mean, if his absence left us without a the job done, I could understand, but with three capable lefties down there and one on the way back, why not insert a guy into our rotation who adds stability and gives us a better chance to win? I would have started the process 2 weeks ago without a second thought about it.
  11. I don't have the link to confirm, but I believe Melky will be suspended for another 50 games, although I'm sure he will appeal it. When I was watching the story break and looking at the print, it clearly stated that any player who directly tries/tried to mislead MLB about their use, will automatically be subject to an additional 50 game penalty. They went on further to say that because Melky supposedly went as far as to put up some website in order to defend himself, that it constitutes him lying about it initially before eventually admitting to it. I honestly think that Selig is going to stick this tag to Melky in order to make an example out of him for making such an extravagant effort to lie about it. Never mind the efforts he made after to come clean. I'm not sure it will stick on appeal, But I'm betting he gets tagged for an additional 50 and that if they think they have enough proof on Braun, the same will happen to him as well.
  12. I was relieved to see that out of Dickey today, cos looking at some of his games last year, I was beginning to wonder if he had anything resembling any of that in him. He had a very long stretch last year where he was incredible and almost unhittable yet this year it's like he's throwing batting practice. It just seems to me like we've just about hit the emergency spot here where we have to start winning games and winning in bunches if this team hopes to compete for the division. Now in my view, Happ showed no sign of being able to contribute to a division winning team whatsoever. Even the one start where he held Boston down, he had to be pulled after five for throwing around 100 pitches. This team needs stability obviously. Does anyone else agree that with his experience, we should quickly stretch out Cecil since he has improved so much and see if he can't get back to where he was as a starter since he has the same stuff he was sucessful with as a starter a few years back? Doesn't that make more sense? Loup and that new guy Perez seem to be doing just fine, so do we really need 4 lefties down there when Oliver comes back? Doesn't it make more sense than sending everybody and their f***ing grandmother out there to patch the rotation? We need stability in those games and a starter thaty will give us a decent shot to win those games. Do we not have better options than Ramon f***ing Ortiz? Or depending on a guy like Happ when he comes back who has proven for a few years now that he can't consistently win games or even get the ball over the plate, taxing the f*** out of our bullpen? I'd much rather see Cecil and see them have to patch start Jenkins until Morrow gets back, unless god forbid, another injury. I seriously think that although he has pitched well out of the bullpen, Cecil is a much better option than Happ in our rotation and adds much more stability. If he does well, package Happ and whoever else together to gain depth at another postion.
  13. I'm very disappointed with Dickey, but Morrow is even worse for me. He finally looked like something clicked and that he didn't need to throw 98 anymore. His fastball command looked great for a long strtch and poof, this year it's completely gone. He looked like a guy who could possibly win 20 and as it stands now, he looks like a guy who could possibly lose that many.
  14. Made perfect sense pal and if you don't like it, just be a man and move on. I'm not whining neither asswipe, I'm calling it as I see it......and almost every poster here is doing precisely the same thing. In case you didn't understand, I was saying that way too many times, a hitter goes 3 for 3 and comes up with the game on the line and does nothing. Have you been watching this team and paying attention to how many runners they've been leaving on base on a daily basis? Never mind, I think my post was pretty clear. If you don't get it, that's your f***ing problem.
  15. That doesn't matter at all. Fact is the first 2 were in the dirt, not EVEN CLOSE. You take the 2-0 because even if he throws one down broadway for a strike, you're still in a fastball count and are pretty much just as likely to get something to hit. If he misses, like it was almost obvious he would, you have the luxury of taking two pitches, or pulling the trigger on the beach ball he has to throw down the middle. It's a game of percentages and when a guy puts two in the dirt with the bases loaded, those percentages tell you that the next pitch is a take all the way. I understand your school of thought there, but with the way the first two were thrown, there's no way you swing at the third, no way in hell.
  16. Yep, and yet it goes on and on and on and on and on without anyone being held accountable. I'm to the point where I don't want to watch them anymore period. If they were being outplayed, that'd be one thing. But they've found more than 25 ways for them to hand over games with a shiny red ribbon on them. Then this fat hillbilly retard sits back and shrugs his shoulders. I'd have fired him 15 games ago and sent my f***ing team a message......play PROFESSIONAL ball or you can ride the bus in AAA.
  17. Another common theme with this team this year. Go 3- 3, then when it matters late in the game, hit a routine ground ball to bail the other team out. This is just getting stupid and AA is just as much at fault for watching his team flounder like this, only to back up his manager with a big pat on the back.....f***ing ridiculous. The team isn't performing anywhere near even a minor league standard, so why is the guy at the hel of the train wreck allowed to continue piling it on? I always thought it was the manager who was responsible for his teams performance. Atta boy Loup, hit the leadoff guy. Way to get your team back up to the plate.
  18. Yeah, it's just sickening. Why wouldn't ANYONE make the pitcher throw a strike with the bases loaded when he wasn't even close with the first 2? Common f***in sense tells you to just stand there. He's still ahead in the count if he throws a strike so either way, the hitter is still in the drivers seat. It's just beyond my comprehension....it's a basic fundamental you teach 6 and 7 year olds for f*** sakes and we have a group of guys that just don't get it. As I speak, there goes aren f***in douche bag swinging at ball 4.....utterly ridiculous. There needs to be some accountability to these guys this far in the season when they're still making mistakes that ten year olds make. f***ing atrocious.
  19. This f***in moron has botched 2 double plays hit straight back to him. If I were his manager, I'd make him take ground balls for 18 hours straight on an off day. The season is 33% over and this teams defense is amateur. There's absolutely no excuse on this earth whatsoever. I've never witnessed any pro team that gives the other team as many extra chances to win as these *******s do. Like Milky f***ing steroid swinging at ball 3 with a 2-0 count with the bases loaded to hit into a double play. He might as well be playing for the Padres. No excuse for not taking a 2-0 pitch that was way inside. Especially since the first two pitches were barely even caught by the catcher. I'm just really sick of this team right now. If this s*** doesn't stop, this team will EASILY finish last in this division and make themselves the laughing stock of the league.
  20. I'm just tired of this team and all the ******** already. It's funny because when I heard they had hired Gibbons as manager I laughed the f*** out loud. He's been struggling all night and his struggles against Atlanta are well documented.....yet this fat hillbilly f*** leaves him in there. Saw this train wreck coming from a f***ing million miles away. Every time they get into a position where they need a big win, they f*** it up every way they can, including sideways. I'm just done watching this team for a bit. The lack of professionalism I see is utterly f***in embarassin and atrocious.
  21. I'm tired of watching this idiot already. what a f***ing joke this guy is.... a CY Young winner? Please, his team gives him three runs and he comes out and gives it up immediately. This guy, when our staff is healthy is lucky to be a number 5. Sick of watching him give up 10+ hits everyt time out.
  22. What logic is that? That we should expect that the guy we bat cleanup should have more than 10 rbi? Because in the A.L, it is beyond a joke and I've heard at least 2 dozen or more people at work saying the exact same thing. So I don't think I'm alone on this one at all.
  23. I think that anyone who could possibly think Kawasaki is better at short than Reyes has been spending some time with Rob ford on that crack pipe. Kawasaki's arm is barely enough to get the ball over to first on the fly on almost half his attempts. Reyes has a canon for an arm and gets at least 20 to 30 guys in any given season with his arm alone over Kawasaki. He's already committed two serious erorrs that cost us games directly. Reyes has much better range as well and gets to balls that Kawasaki stops and f***ing bows to. I'm not sure I've heard anything more idiotic in my life. Reyes problem is that he can be lazy at times and it causes him that Yunel Escobar msyndrome where he'll just gap out and make some fairly dumb f***ing eroors that you know he shouldn't make and it frustrates you. Anybody who agress that Kawasaki is anywhere near the defensive SS that Reyes is, is a complete flaming trolling ass clown who needs to watch some film on the two guys and get bitch slapped so he can wake the f*** up. I'd rathern have a slurring f***ing drunk Buck Martinez out there playing short rather than this Kawasaki guy, at least he's have an excuse as to why he can't turn a f***ing double play or get the ball on the fly to first. Do you think it's a coincidence that this team is utterly atrocious at executing double plays? Have you been watching Kawasaki's turn and throws to first? David f***ing eckstein had a canon compared to kawasaki. Dude has blown at least a dozen or more dp's by simply not being able to execute a basic catch, turn and throw to first.....and he's better than Reyes you say? Are you hoping that when he bows, he'll blow you or something? Because this is beyond trolling, it's something I'd expect a 12 year old japanese fangirl to say.
  24. It's just so hard to sell at this point but one thing is for sure, this team is a gigantic fail from top to bottom. If Dickey doesn't improve drastcally, we basically have no chance whasoever. He was putting up one hitters last year by this time, including against Baltimore. Less than a year later, the same team is shelling him to the point of embarassment. We have a clean up guy in Lind who has what? 10 f***ing rbi's? A complete joke...a guy who comes up last night with 2 on and nobody out, and hits into a dp you can see coming from a mile away, killing the entire inning and momentum. After the O's put up two more insurance runs, he hits a f***ing useless bases empty homerun. Does this f***ing manager really think this team is going to compete with a dh that has 10 rbi? Or platooning JPA there with his 58k's and 2 walks? Or wait!! We're supposed to wait for Jose Reyes to come back because he will save us?? Instead of plugging in a vastly improved Cecil to our rotation and finding help for the bullpen, he chooses to plug in Ramon f***ing Ortiz, Sean Nolin and whoever else? While JJ takes a familiar ride on the DL and Happ goes down? With 2 lefties like Loup and Oliver in the bp, why not inject Cecil to the rotation considering his experience and new found velocity? To add some f***ing stability maybe? Instead we recall Ricky f***in' Romero and insert these 40 something year old journeymen into a rotation of a team that was expected to compete? The decisions since Reyes went down are nothing short of apalling and amateur. Not saying I'm some f***in' genius, but when you look at what this team has done instead, it's bordering on laughable. AA has allowed this team to stumble directionless to the point where a quarter of this season is DONE. What now? Wait til the halfway point? Till JJ comes back and says he's still rusty from being on the DL? Why not insert a guy like Cecil into our rotation right now in an attempt to regain some f***ing stability and when Happ comes back, he can take his walk per inning ass to the long man in the bullpen position and whine some more about not being allowed his "rightful" spot in the rotation. 50 games is more than enough to surmise that this ship isn't sailing the right way and s*** needs to change. Start by quitting to insert sloppy f***ing joes into the rotation in hopes of stopping the bleeding when you have a guy with experience and a fastball back at 92-94 who is capable of filling that bleeding f***ing hole. God this Gibbons hillbilly is a f***ing moron. Always was and still is.
