    Got no choice but to DL some guys now. Hopefully some only miss the 15 days . If Bautista can DH then DL,ing Lind isn't too bad but if we lose Lawrie and Bautista for any AMT of time it is going to hurt.

    I keep saying this . If I'm in 1st up 4 or 5 games then you have to get a starter and a good one . I still believe Dickey will get it together and i hate the cost on the shark but we need a top of rotation type guy.

    Glad to see people are coming around to what i have been posting all along . The guy is just too Lazy and out of shape to be anything more than a bench bat backup catcher

    Exactly , AA needs to just have patience or it will cost a pretty penny ie (Norris +++). As I posted if we are up 5 games a month from now then I'm more willing to pay dearly than I am right now.

    Some of the best posters ever left the forums because of personal attacks . jaybooster who for years was voted most gentlemanly on the old board and spent 10 years there left because of a certain posters attacks. That can,t happen here unless we want to continue to run this board on donations only. Most women leave after the first day. Many ways to disagree with posts without attacking them.

    what this does point out to me is how lucky the yankees have been. rays are bad and that is reflected in wins but the Yanks are over 500 in spite of being that bad ,

    Cherington was on the radio stating that Bradley is their CF and while Sizemore hasn't done what they expected they would likely stick with what they have unless they get close and can make a good deal.

    Hindsight is always 20/20. I question some of Gibby,s moves at times but he has always been very good handling a bull pen . AA f***ed him up early in the year with his roster management . As for the rest of his game management I really can't see how we can question his handling of the team but when teams lose most always blame the manager.

    I have always felt that an outfielder gunning a runner down at the plate was one of the sweetest plays in baseball . Wish i had saw it live but I have been lucky enough over the years of watching some of the best arms in baseball on my teams do this over the years . Valentine and Vlad on the Expos and Barfield and Bautista on the Jays. Great as that throw is how about gunning out a runner at first base on consecutive days.

    Didn't catch the game but looking at the box score some positives even with the loss. Stroman did his job and the team got 10 hits just didn't string them together enough against the twins best pitcher. Looking to go into Baltimore and heat up again. Wonder if the back is still bothering Edwin. Win the next three series and all will be right.

    LOL. Actually if the O,s win one I expect some blood to be spilled in the GDT . They will want to DFA half the lineup. Think I'll take the weekend off the GDT and just enjoy the games.

    Again using AAA as a 26th man roster. I still believe Gose will go back to AAA when Colby comes off the DL. He certainly has things he could work on and Pillar as a RH batter makes more sense .
