Does Stoeten want us to rush him along? He is only 21 years old, which is the youngest age of any pitcher in AA. And what Babba said, Sanchez has been throwing mostly fastballs the past 2 years, and has been told to not throw his best pitch, his curve. If he started using his curve you would see more K's for sure. -
I don't think Japan stats count in our league...

No he wasn't, he was in AA. Same spot Sanchez is. Also, there isn't much of a difference between AA and AAA anyway.

Sounds like he has control of his Curve. It's just his Fastball he needs to work on, which is I guess why they had him throw only that for the first 4 innings..

I would have to think that's what he means. If Sanchez would improve his command he'd be closer to a #2 or even #1.

Pretty fair trade. Both are the same type of player on the age curve. They both upgraded in positions they were lacking in.
