Any rebuilding team wanna take a flier on Luke Jackson? Averaged 9.0 Ks, 2.6 BBs, 6.3 Hits per 9 innings in AA. Probably be pitching in the majors next year.

Pretty fair trade, both teams helped their own causes. Kat got a starter that could be good in the future, but Silvergun got better this year. Jansen is a top closer and will collect a ton more SVs than Rondon, along with put up great ratios, Neshek will help with the rate stats too. I was actually after both those relievers. Davis and Jackson are close to being same for this year, only thing is Jackson is a little younger.

I like this deal for Jaysblue. Didn't really give up any "Top 20" prospects. Seems like Sammy did go quantity over quality.
