You know we were above league average in runs scored that year, right?

This. It's nice to have a decent starter that you're able to call up have start a few games. He was average for about 15 starts in Texas last year. I just figured he'd be a better option than the Doubronts and Copelands we've been running out there.

It was actually Joe Ross, not Tyson. And my reasoning behind the Longoria trade was, Rendon was down with injury, I was running some scrub out there at 3B, and I was trying to compete. Longoria was still hitting good at this point too. I realize now it was a massive overpayment, and Hurl should feel bad for taking advantage of me in my vulnerable state. I then flipped Longoria so that way I could erase any memory of this terrible trade from my team. I can always hope Santana somehow turns into Chris Davis, Right?
