  1. Teo's OPS would be 2nd lowest on the team it only beats Varsho by .019. LGJ would have helped in May, but his April was trash. We've seen this from him before. Last year he had a OPS of .905 in July, but then .572 in August.
  2. Kiermaier CF + Springer RF >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Springer CF + Teo RF That trade is looking like and easy win so far.
  3. Is he a DH only prospect though? He's the only prospect that Fangraphs has as a FV 20 Fielder.
  4. I’m not sure what you’re trying to explain? You’re bringing up a rule in a different league. No where in the rules here does it say it’s illegal to add a red flag. This league had originally copied the DDL rules, but that was like 5 years ago, things have changed in both since then.
  5. At no point was this rule discussed in BORED. So there shall be zero punishment.
  6. Juan Soto has been disappointing. At what point is it decided he's no longer a top 5 bat?
  7. Eventually someone in the rotation will be injured 100%.
  8. He's decent as a RP/longman, but has been disappointing as a SP.
  9. Are you just looking at his ERA for 2 months as a Jay last year? Because up until that point he had a career era under 4 as a swingman. They'd probably keep him over someone like Bass.
  10. Walker had a wRC+ of 128 in AA; Vladdy had 203. He also didn't look worse, he looked better by most stats after the first 20ish games. The Cards are trying to turn around their season before they sink too low in the standings, they can't afford to be starting Walker everyday and at his age and point in development he needs to be starting everyday.
  11. It's still early but it's looking like we made the right choice with regards to swapping Ray out for Gausman. 1.8 WAR compared to 6.7 WAR. Looking back on their contracts I'm actually surprised we got Gausman for what we did, compared to Ray's contract.
  12. The White Sox really surprises me. They've been in top 10 payroll at times, occasionally in the top 5. I guess they've focused more on short term contracts.
  13. I think we did pretty good. We got a good RP with control, and a very intriguing SP prospect. I'm not sure what more we could have hoped for? Kyle Schwarber from the Nationals to the Red Sox would maybe be a comparable? That was a deadline deal, but they're comparable players.
  14. Ohtani is going to stay in LA. But it won't be as an Angel. Dodgers have a bunch of contracts coming off the books.
  15. The base runner was pretty much standing on 1st base. This is something a professional outfielder should take into account.
  16. True story.
  17. I wonder if we'll see Mitch White's being held back on purpose a little bit to work out at the complex/extended spring training. He's out of options, and was working on a new changeup as well. He hasn't been needed for the rotation yet this year, may as well bring him along as slowly as possible.
  18. Something might be off with Cimber. His velocity is down so far this year.
  19. Doesn’t Story have like a career OPS of like .720 in stadiums that aren’t Coors?
