Scherzer is actually one of the pitchers that can "hit". Pitchers are pretty much an automatic out. Madison Bumgarner is far and away the best hitting SP, and he still only had an OBP of .275 last year.
Ya, but he's Asian. They're automatically healthier, so you can probably subtract 5 years off his age. So really, he has the body of a 22 year old.
Case in point = Hiroki Kuroda (Who also is heavy on the splitter/slider combo)
I didn't mean it in the way that your team is bad. More that if I lose yet another week it would put me down in 18th or 19th and I feel like I should then just give up and call it a season.
To anyone looking to fill a hole at 2B... Brandon Phillips is available and has been hitting pretty good so far this year. Looks like the fella still has something left in the tank.
