What about the Cuban? I'm actually alright with our OF. Just get a good lefty RP. Plan for Upton in LF. But if Ramirez, Pompey, or Gourriel impress in spring training I'd let them roll with the job to start the year.

He makes a s***** point I think. Football is a whole other beast. The fan experience is just that much better that it's worth the extra cash. A lot of the tickets could also be from other team's fans. When your team only plays 8 home games a season sometimes you gotta go to other cities to see them play.

Nice try, but you're comparing apples to oranges. That still put them at 24th in the league for attendance.

They were top 5 in attendance, but they were also top 5 in payroll those years. Ownership stopped spending on the team, which means the fans left. They went from a top 5 payroll to a bottom 5 in 2 years. Hard to put a team on the field that people want to pay to watch when you have a bottom 5 payroll to work with. It's almost like more spending = more fans. Weird huh

Probably not. Maybe slightly better. But we need an OFer. Pair him with Upton in a platoon. And we might be able to pick up a prospect as a lottery ticket in the deal.
