Has it been noted anywhere that Fisher has the 3rd highest average exit velocity this year? The 2 guys above him are Judge and Gallo. -

That would be kind of hilarious if they did. Tell him to pack his bags, he's flying to NY. Then the Mets meet him at the terminal holding a Stroman sign.

When in doubt you can always promote him and cut at the next roster cutdown date.

Stroman is kind of high on himself. He views himself as an ace and the best thing since sliced bread. He said he wanted an extension, but at the same time he probably also wanted to get paid like an ace instead of the #2 like he is. He'll continue with his high self evaluation until he hits free agency and only then will he realize no team is going to give him his outrageous asking price, and only then will he lower his demands.

No roster cuts are needed yet, just prospect cuts. Yahoo hasn't even opened up hockey yet for the new season.

Stroman might not be valued all that highly by other teams because of his skillset. He doesn't strike guys out, and he's been lucky with his era.

I actually like this trade. SWR should rank above Pardinho though I feel, he's a stud. These 2 are the two youngest pitchers currently in A-Ball, but SWR has been putting up far and away the better numbers. He's currently leading the league in xFIP. Could easily see this guy pitching in the majors in 2021 when he's 20. Mets just paid us back for sending them Syndergaard in the Dickey trade.
