  1. Tiger Woods is the GOAT!
  2. Rays will win the AL East and World Series!
  3. I've been to Cleveland twice to catch the Jays in the 2016 ALCS and in 2018 to catch Game 3 of the Raptors vs. Cavs. Also have Cleveland Browns season tickets haha. Regardless, it's not that bad of a city as you're making it out to be. I thought after travelling to see the Jays in 2016 I would never want to go back, though I did. A lot of great restaurants and bars around the ballpark and arena. East 4th Street is a great area with restaurants, bars and nightlife. The West Side Market area is a cool area as well. A lot of people in Cleveland are friendly and their fans are very welcoming towards visiting fans. You've never even been to the city and yet talking trash about it. Sure it's not a New York or San Francisco or LA (which aren't that great cities as they're made out to be anyways). Overall, Cleveland has cleaned up over the last couple of years. It's not as bad as I was imagining. Would I live there? Not my first choice. Give me Florida over any place up north that has awful weather for 7-8 months of the year haha.
  4. What makes you think he'll catch COVID a few times during a season?
  5. As much as I hate to even say it, in terms of COVID-19 infections in Ontario, those with booster doses have 22.35 cases per capita, fully vaccinated have 15.47 cases per capita and partially or unvaccinated have 12.75 cases per capita. (Per 100,000 people, 7-day average).
  6. You also fail to acknowledge that if the Jays didn't acquire Price at the deadline in 2015, what happens if the Yankees acquired him instead? Would the Blue Jays still have won the division?
  7. If the Jays didn't have Price, they wouldn't have won the division. Who would have made his 11 starts instead? Jays won 9 of the games he started.
  8. Wouldn't have made the postseason in 2015 if it wasn't for Price. And the Jays were a World Series contender in 2015. They were a better team than the Royals on paper. Boyd would have been here when the Jays were rebuilding. It's not like him alone would have made the Jays relevant in 2018 and 2019.
  9. A lot of people on this board loved Jesse Chavez and fapped about him all the time. But looking back, this was an awful trade. Imagine keeping Hendricks and having an elite closer like him right now.
  10. Other than DeSclafani, did those other players/arms do anything special that makes you hit your head? Buehrle wasn't anything special, but he was solid and a reliable innings eater. Josh Johnson was the biggest bust, but if he was healthy he was a top arm. Reyes still was solid with the bat, but defensively was meh. If that trade didn't happen, you wouldn't have had the 2015 and 2016 postseason.
  11. Hockey playoffs shouldn't be going into June!

    Lakers suck and are overrated.
  14. Yeah I like how Meadows is younger, but his splits against LHP worries me and I have the feeling the Rays will definitely platoon him. Muncy has been consistent year in and out and like you said, that 2B eligibility is a nice feature and who knows if he gets 3B back at some point as well.
  15. Austin Meadows or Max Muncy in a 20-team dynasty league?
  16. Semien side as well. I love Cronenworth since he has multi-position eligibility and is younger, though Semien will give you better overall power numbers over the next season or so. Belt is like Lyle Overbay when healthy, so he can be a solid bat, nothing spectacular. Taylor's playing time worries me.
  17. The bullpen will be such an important factor in the early going. If the bullpen gets off to a horrendous start blowing winnable games in April and May, the Jays missing the postseason or winning the division by one-two games would really hurt.

Raps have done well this season after a brutal start, but doubt they get past the first round in the playoffs.
  19. George Springer becomes a pitcher as well and pitches 60 innings with a sub 1 ERA.
  20. Vladdy hits 72 home runs and drives in 188 Bichette hits 26 HR's and drives in 116 Biggio hits .254 with 25 HR's and drives in 88 with 20 SB Springer hits 45 HR's with 130 RBI Teo hits 29 HR's with 112 RBI Chapman hits 30 HR with 130 RBI Gausman goes 16-5 with a 4.03 ERA
  21. I would rather pay the $20-25 for an Uber each way and enjoy my evening worry free if I know I'm going to have some drinks.
  22. I'll wait and see what Bellinger and Yelich do over a full season of good health but yeah not looking good. Yelich I think can at least return to being a valuable player, Bellinger not so much.
  23. The Hurl will go streaking at the Rogers Centre this season.
