Tim Wallach said that he wasn't interested. And Tim was AA's first choice. Joe Girardi is in his last year of a 3-year/ 9 million dollar deal with the Yankees and they want to scoop side burns Dave from the Dodgers and that would leave Wallach as the Dodgers manager. Girardi would jump to ESPN or Fox.

Thole isn't up because Gibby would start him and sit JPA. AA isn't ready to let that happen. That isn't opinion. I know. Former catcher Gibbons is beside himself and is stuck playing Arencibia because Blanco is a dead zone. Truth? Gibbons would have played Blanco Sunday to send a message if he had any leverage. He wants to keep his job.

Drabek has the best late movement in the organization. Is what it is. His pitches all dance late and sharply. Morrow is close but not as nasty. And McGowan has the best all around everything. Notice a pattern that isn't great? Anyway, 2 TJ surgeries = at least a year or 2 as a reliever. Over 90% of starters with 2 labrum surgeries become relievers, if they even have a career.
