2 Saves and 2 Holds on the first night, plus Peavy got his start bumped. 7 starter crisis averted.... If I'm gonna win though, the bats have to do their thing.

f*** I'm scared too. Stanton has a nagging something or other, Prado is "sick", and 7 of my starters are bunched together in one day, so I am gonna have to do some serious lineup juggling there. Seriously, what are the f***ing chances... 7 starters in one day, and it has to be in the playoffs...

Oh, and I suppose this is as good a place as any to remind everyone that after all the seemingly unprovoked smack that No49 had for me, and his massive lead, I am leading him by 9 (nine) games going into the final week. Good day.

Hey fellas, as per a post from the old board I made: "I will purchase the winner (or send money equivalent to the value of a sandwich) of each division a sandwich that reflects the division they are in. Just cause I am such a nice guy, and want to add a little fun to the division races." So, that means No49, better start scouting out the best place to get a Turkey Club in Waterloo (I think I remember mentioning you went there), but if you are from Toronto, I recommend holding off until Thanksgiving and cashing in for a Turkey Bacon extra Bacon at Belly's. Dinger, I believe you are from Toronto, not sure what the best Reuben is in the city (Caplansky's, Corned Beef House?). And BTS, provided you hold on, I can't actually imagine there being anything worthwhile in Ottawa (save for Hintonburger, holy f*** that place is good) but pick something, and let me know. They both were UFA's for me who couldn't be resigned. Gorges over Klein, Perry over Val. I inherited a clusterf*** of a contract situation. Something had to give. I'm hoping I just got a 25 y/o Tomas Plekanec. Isn't there a way for everyone to be happy?

Also, as a tooting of own horn, since I traded for Prado (June 15) he has slashed 322/375/505 for an 880 OPS, with 7 HR's and a couple steals. All for a couple of middling starters in AA (Barnes and Zach Lee). Sorry Gryffindor! Josh Donaldson for later round pick downgrade was a steal too. In full disclosure, worst trade by far came at the hands of Dinger... Ryu for Grandal. I figured Ryu was bound for some regression, and I liked Grandal as a possible catcher of the future. Yikes.

2013 and 2014 Min> 2013 and 2014 Dinger, In my humble opinion. I'd be happy to debate this too. After the guys start to graduate though, I'm toast. I'm sad I don't have Mr. Correa anymore.

Trading with Gibbers is tough, because he has very particular tastes. No matter what you offered (see: Buxton, Brian) it may not have been of interest to him. The Fernandez deal on the other hand... I wish I had knows that was what was up.
