Yeah. Also, Steamer has a ~1 WAR for JPA and Melky. Getting some positive contribution at C and LF, whether it's from these two guys or not, as well as at 2B will go a long way to getting right on the back track. -

Lowry's OK. I support this motion. Eric Bledsoe is coming to town this offseason though. It makes a lot of sense, plus he's been hanging with Drake. They aint paying Drake for nothing.

I'm of the mind that they fire Casey tomorrow, trade everyone but Ross, Amir and Jonas, and hope for the worst. If they can't trade Rudy, so be it. He's an active member of tank nation the way he is playing.

Haha you might be right. Salty was a top 20 prospect though back in 2006. Neither of those guys were ever that.

I think this results in TSN getting the Raptors and that in combination with them hyping the s*** out of Wiggins/Thompson/Olynyk/Nicholson/Bennet etc. leads to them making basketball remarkably relevant. They made the CFL a big deal, we know they have the best and most polished broadcast abilities. Is it really that much of a leap to think that if they direct all of their focus on it, that they can't make it huge given the upswing in Canadian talent right now? Hell, if Ujiri lives up to his potential and his billing, and the Raptors become good, I don't have a hard time believing that the Raps could outrelevant the Leafs and hockey in Toronto and maybe even Canada in this circumstance, a la early 90's Jays.

I'm late to the party here, but all I have to say about this is that any FO that believes buying out Grabo to then use the money on Bozak has some serious issues. Disclaimer: I'm not a Leafs fan, I am a Red Wings fan.

I read this a couple times, trying to find out where the "Jays related content" was for this specific question. I finally settled on believing it was a weak link to the should we/ should we not have with Yu, and then I realized OP was Dinger. I proceeded to chuckle.

One small typo. Wil Myers name was spelt incorrectly. Great article though, making my way through it right now -
It's even worse when you take into account that this trade made the Dickey trade feasible in the eyes of those in charge. If those two trades were one, then I could see it as one of the worst trades in MLB history.

Yeah we can drop it, it's a semantics thing more than anything. Trade sucked totally. Period. That's the end of story. Didn't mean to cause you so much angst.

I'd say go Swisher>Colby>Bourn but they all measure out around the same to be honest.
