Agreed. He's a classic sell-high candidate right now. Selling a year ago would have been better of course. Trading him rather than Syndergaard for Dickey even better. Oh well. If they can get a legit pitcher for him, they should absolutely go for it. Tanner Roark would be swell.

Makes sense as long as they don't torpedo his value this year. If they can trade Sanchez at his perceived value (based on prospect lists) that would be a huge move.

4M to buy him out in 2018 too, it's expensive to just make him go away.

No reason the Jays can't go out and get a guy with the Buehrle money though. So many SP options out there this summer. If Norris and Hutch are fine (they should be) and make steps in the right direction, then a rotation of Norris, Hutch, Stroman, Dickey and FA Starter is pretty legit. Problem is the bats are another year older and more frail. This is assuming the Jays pick up Dickey's option, which I imagine they will if Buehrle walks.

There's no way to say this without sounding like I'm mocking you, but I'm not. Tough break on CarGo2.0. With that being said, at least you have fourteen other CFs to dull the pain.

I know Casey is brutal, but there's no way he actually would have done that. He can't have. There's no way. Impossible. Ok probably, it makes no sense though. After getting hosed by Joe Johnson last year, they literally brought in JJ for one reason, and he's excelled at that and been awesome in everything else he does too, but still he gets stapled to the bench... I know I'm not saying anything new here, but felt like expressing my disgust.
