  1. I've cut all my waiver selections except Drew Storen and Joe Smith.
  2. Good thing we had stud SSOTF Russ Adams to help cushion this blow.
  3. I love how North has so many picks, they won't even fit on the google doc.
  4. I agree about pitch count. Going by IP is a stupid concept. There's a massive difference in potential innings based on how efficient a pitcher is. Example: Johnny Cueto throws 13.7 pitches per inning. Zack Wheeler throws 17.8 pitches per inning. Hypothetically, if they were both cut off at 180 IP -- it would be 2466 pitches vs 3204 pitches. That would mean Cueto could throw 234 innings to equal the same number of pitches thrown.
  5. Even better, 2nd behind Tulo. He's an awesome platoon weapon. I'm using LaRoche in the same way.
  6. Has anyone else noticed how good Seth Smith has been? .445 wOBA through 38 games. That's incredible. I didn't even know until I saw him dominate me this week from Speedy's team.
  7. The moral of this story is, Anthony Gose can be projected for 24 fWAR in 2015.
  8. Well, Boxy's team has so many studs, can you blame us for the confusion?
  9. Seriously though Pollock has been a stud so far. I didn't realize how good his slash line has been.
  10. Wait, we're not talking about ex-London Slayers stud Junior Lake??!!
  11. It makes sense. We sit at 23,000 nearly every year. The reason attendance was so high last year was because fans anticipated a competitive team. A lot of those high numbers probably game from excessive tickets purchased before the season even started. That just shows that fans in this city are willing to support a competitive team. I'm sure a playoff berth would gain us at least 30,000 per game next year.
  12. I would rather give Hendricks a shot than Redmond. Don't get me wrong, Redmond had some decent starts last year, but I don't see any upside to him. At least Hendricks has youth on his side.
  13. I wish I could have both Richards and Kluber right now.
  14. And since those rankings he traded both Ellsbury and Gonzalez. That's incredible.
  15. The baseball gods see what you're doing here, and will punish you with Felix TJS.
  16. Nothing says sexy like a 4.3 K/9 and 2.4 BB/9.
  17. We should both be ashamed of ourselves for these pitching lines.
  18. Why go for Roenis Elias, when he can go for a shiny prize like my Scott Feldman at a price that will make his jaw drop?
  19. This is the worst week I've experienced. It's like every one of my pitchers completely fell off a cliff this week. Kershaw 6 ER in 1.2? Unreal.
  20. Is anyone else still dying over that old fat guy nearly biting the other guys arm off over a baseball bat?
  21. When he's off the DL though, would you be interested?
  22. Andrew Cashner to the 15 day DL with elbow soreness... this is getting unbelievable...
  23. I'll message you when I get home tonight. Or, if you have any ideas, send a message and I'll read it when I get home.
