I just laughed out loud in public at the Billy Beane comment. I'm one of the few guys looking to add picks and even I have no interest in those 6th rounders. They're basically worthless.

I think TCA would have a good shot at beating him. If he just started Strasburg/Lee/Darvish/Teheran -- there's a good chance he wins ERA, OBPA, K:BB. Then if he went all holds, there's a good chance he takes 4/7 pitching. Then he would need 3/7 offensive categories, having the tiebreaker.

It makes all the sense in the world for both sides. Value wise it's pretty even too.

I probably gained 10 pounds in a week on that trip. There was a Ben and Jerry's, McDonald's, and Denny's right to my hotel. Drinking + 24 hour fast food places isn't good for the diet.

It's actually hard to walk down the Las Vegas strip and not have a wifi connection. There's also 5 McDonalds on the strip. I ended up eating there nearly every day when I went last year.

If it's a matter of a week though, is it really a big deal if the shift isn't interfering with anyone else's schedule? I'm sure if you said something last year, people would have tried to work around it. I do agree with you though. It should have a set date every year and any change should be implemented the following year regardless.

It took 15 days to complete last year, so probably around the first week of August.
