James Van Riemsdyk but I'm just guessing.

This is why the legal system should not rely on people "pressing charges". He did what he did, even if she forgives him.
  4. People saying Martin will be out of our price range MLB Trade Rumors Will be interesting to see where he goes. I don't think we get him either way, but it will be interesting.

too late. not motivated by the proper things. still nice to see.

exactly this. Pathetic, but its not just the league, its all the people who are pretending that they won't stand for this! Clearly you will because it happens WAY too often.

Where is this outrage when there is no video of these incidents... that is equally as disappointing Ray Rice isn't the first to do something like this, and won't be the last.

It'll be interesting to see what happens. Ray Rice isn't the first guy to have a domestic abuse incident, but since this one can be seen he'll have the book thrown at him. Pretty sad that the public seeing the incident weighs so heavily on what the punishment is.
  9. Yeah, but whats worse. Giving up the tying run and giving them a win in the form of a sac fly (and second chance for a cheap single). Or giving up only the tying run. I'm not saying I totally endorse the no-throw, just that I don't 'mind' it (don't hate it outright)
  10. well how about that... no wonder I always liked your posts.
  11. he should have made that throw, but I'm just saying I don't think it caused that much trouble b/c I don't think it would have been close. Plus you never know if the cut-off guy makes the right call.
  12. Wait Brando is on this forum? Are we talking Brandonthetool? I didn't know he was still around? Loved that guy.
  13. I didn't mind the now throw as it gave us a shot at not giving up a sac fly walk-off. Reyes is what he is, we know he isn't getting to those but wanted his bat. Never know about OF throws to the plate. The Tolleson play is the real kick to the nuts.
  14. nice. I'm totally adding that to the list... and also some bourbon and scotch to add to this beer... good call Deadpool MacLean
  15. clearly... plus he adds some edge to your team. and street cred with the guy he killed (a-la Ray Lewis)
  16. Whoever suggested the song to help you get over the loss, that has turned into a fun game actually. Listened to; Mary Jane - The Vines - to cool down and stop myself from having a heart attack I Never Came - Queens of the Stone Age - still mellowing, but with some lamentation as well Plush (acoustic) - Stone Temple Pilots - lamentation, but with some hope for tomorrow Hurt - NIN - f***, we don't have time to think about winning tomorrow, this sucks Just - Radiohead - This f***ing team does this to me every year, why should I be suprised! Its like a soundtrack to my Jays fan experience in real time
  17. I went with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ii-rsOq-vf4 it actually chilled me out pretty good. I'm aight now edit: followed up with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eIiu1CjrTE double worked
  18. What did he sign for last time though? Answer: a whole hell of a lot less than I thought he would.
  19. I'll remember this post when he signs for someone else (unless we pick up the options for some reason). Time will tell which one of us is correct. But you are so bright and educated that you probably have this all figured out.
  20. I know people like complaining about Reyes, but its not like he is a horrible value at the moment (likely will be by the end of the contract when he is 35). The guy will make 3 WAR by seasons end. Is not a good, but pretty much average defensive SS (ATM). Depends how much you think a win is worth, but it only has to be 7.5M-ish. Not a bundle of surplus value, but I don't hate the contract... for 2015 that is.
  21. Why do people think Morrow will come back on a reduced deal? We see injury prone starters sign 1 year deals at good money EVERY YEAR. He will go where the money is and to an environment better suited for building value. He certainly isn't going to come back here on the cheap to pitch out of the BP as some may suggest.
  22. thats some sweet gif'n skills. kudos
  23. This is my thoughts when evaluating Buck and Tabby too. They make stupid comments and mess up names, but I don't let it bother me. We could do worse.
  24. Nope, he just does that to troll people. It's part of his tired MO
  25. Of course you think it's right, it's the counter-point.
