Matt Dominguez led off the eighth by beating the shift as he slapped a single into right field through the vacated area at second. The third baseman then moved up 90 feet with his first stolen base of the season and came home on Andy Burns' double into the left-field corner. Next up was Melky Mesa and he promptly drove a base hit into center to cash in Burns. Indianapolis took the initial lead in the game as Max Moroff blasted a two-run home run on the first pitch he saw from John Anderson to take the early first-inning lead. The Bisons answered back with three of their own in the third. Tony Sanchez and Jio Mier each singled to start the inning. Darrell Ceciliani then belted a ball off of the wall in right-center field to score Sanchez. David Adams picked up an RBI on a groundout and two batters later, Dominguez looped a ball over second base to bring home Cecililani and put the Herd up 3-2. Ceciliani finished the day with three hits and a walk to boost his average to .236. After winning his first Triple-A game in his last start, Anderson laboured his way through five innings under the hot Indianapolis sun. The left-hander bent but didn't break in the 91-degree heat as he mixed in two walks and a strikeout around nine hits, leaving with the game tied at three. Aaron Loup and Franklin Morales each threw an inning of scoreless relief before Ben Rowen ran into some trouble in the eighth. The submariner came on having not allowed a run since May 8th, but gave up a double and a pair of walks to load the bases before getting the hook from manager Gary Allenson. 26-year-old Danny Barnes, in his second career appearance with the Herd, got speedster Gift Ngoepe to ground into the 6-4-3 double play to end the threat. Barnes took the bump again in the ninth and induced a fly out and a ground out from the first two batters he faced. With power-hitter Josh Bell on deck, Max Moroff lined a ball that looked like a sure single into shallow center field. However, Melky Mesa came charging in and made a head-first diving catch, just as the ball was about to hit the ground, to end the game. After exchanging high-fives with teammates, Barnes walked off the field with the ball in his hand and his first Triple-A save in the history books. BISONS NOTES: The Bisons made more roster moves on Sunday as Chad Jenkins was activated while Bo Schultz was recalled to the Blue Jays…Darrell Ceciliani is 5-for-12 as a leadoff batter this season…Ben Rowen's scoreless innings streak is now at 22.2 innings…The sweep is the Herd's first in Indianapolis since 2003. Buffalo is 50-48 across 20 years of play at Victory Field…The Bisons improve to 14-5 against the International League West in 2016. http://i.imgur.com/MYOMDdQ.png http://i.imgur.com/j4ia0ko.png http://i.imgur.com/eUvvjI8.png http://www.milb.com/assets/images/8/6/2/88663862/cuts/Taylor_Cole_Game_Story_1_Cody_Smith_0njtebiq_k33n39dk.jpg MANCHESTER - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats struggled to locate their offense Sunday afternoon, falling 3-1 in the series finale against the Harrisburg Senators at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The Fisher Cats (32-42) fell back to a season-worst 10 games below .500, only scoring in the ninth inning to break up the shutout. Tyler Mapes (W, 7-5) dealt a complete game for the Senators (41-33), who didn't give up a single earned run in the last 18 innings of the series. It was the first complete game thrown against New Hampshire since Akron hurler Will Roberts did it on June 11, 2015. Harrisburg opened the scoring in the top of the second inning against Fisher Cats starting pitcher Taylor Cole (L, 0-1). Neftali Soto led off with a double to right, and Kevin Keyes and Stephen Perez each drew one-out walks to load the bases. Nick Rickles hit a slow bouncer to shortstop for an RBI groundout, scoring Soto to put Harrisburg up 1-0. The Senators added another in the top of the third inning. With one out, Wilmer Difo singled and stole second, before Soto cracked another double to bring him home and extend Harrisburg's lead to 2-0. The Senators got an insurance run in the ninth inning, when Rafael Bautista doubled home Adrian Sanchez off reliever Tim Mayza for a 3-0 advantage. New Hampshire scored a run in the bottom of the ninth, as Jason Leblebijian reached on an error by Difo at shortstop, and came in on a one-out fielder's choice to make it 3-1. However, Wilkin Castillo bounced out to end the game. Cole took the loss despite firing six strong innings, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks while fanning five. Chris Smith allowed a hit and a walk over 1.1 innings and recorded three strikeouts. Tim Mayza gave up a run on two hits and a walk over 1.1 innings, and Wil Browning retired the only batter he faced. The Fisher Cats will open up a three-game series against the Hartford Yard Goats Monday night, with right-hander Jeremy Gabryszwski starting for New Hampshire against Hartford righty Zach Jemiola. First pitch from Northeast Delta Dental Stadium is at 7:05 p.m., and Ben Gellman has the call starting at 6:45 p.m. on the Fisher Cats Radio Network. Monday night is NHIAA 2015-16 High School State Champions Night! We'll be honoring 2015-16 NHIAA High School State Championship teams and athletes prior to the game, presented by Coca-Cola of Northern New England. The Lugnuts (4-0, 40-34) won their sixth straight game against the Whitecaps (0-4, 39-32), improving to 8-3 in the season series against their intrastate rival. The Whitecaps twice built two-run leads, grabbing a 2-0 advantage in the third inning and a 7-5 edge in the eighth - and twice found themselves wiped out by a Lugnuts rally. In the bottom of the third inning, the Nuts tallied four runs against All-Star Kyle Dowdy, climaxed by a two-run triple by John La Prise. In the eighth, Lansing didn't stop at four runs. Reliever Adenson Verastegui (Loss, 0-3) faced five batters without recording an out, walking Jake Thomas and La Prise with the bases loaded to force in the game-tying runs. Drew Smith came on for Verastegui, only to be victimized by a Max Pentecost RBI single, a Juan Kelly two-run single, a Justin Atkinson sacrifice fly and a run-scoring wild pitch. Starlyn Suriel (Win, 4-1) pitched 2 1/3 innings to receive credit for the victory despite allowing a two-run homer to Franklin Navarro. The Whitecaps scored two runs in the ninth against Dusty Isaacs before a 5-3-6 double play ended the game. Lansing outscored West Michigan by a combined 35-17 during the four games, with the Lugnuts' offense scalding Whitecaps pitching to the tune of a .377 average (52 hits in 138 at-bats). Pentecost extended his on-base streak to 21 games by going 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored, and Connor Panas increased his own streak to 14 games with a 2-for-5 performance - including his sixth home run of the year, and his fourth homer in his last eight games. In addition to Pentecost and Panas, second baseman La Prise, first baseman Kelly, third baseman Carl Wise and left fielder Austin Davis also supplied a pair of hits. Center fielder Andrew Guillotte left the game early after getting hit by a pitch on the batting helmet. His replacement, Thomas, went 1-for-1 with a single, two walks and two runs scored. Lugnuts starting pitcher Jon Harris pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing seven hits and five runs (three earned), with a walk and three strikeouts. The Lansing Lugnuts next depart for a seven-game road trip to Great Lakes and South Bend, the Lugnuts' first road games since June 12th. Left-hander Angel Perdomo (2-2, 2.45) starts the 7:05 p.m. Monday opener at the Loons' Dow Diamond in Midland, opposed by Great Lakes right-hander Dennis Santana (1-8, 3.12). The Lugnuts return to Cooley Law School Stadium in time for Independence Day! Go Nuts for special 4th of July LAFCU Fireworks, following the 7:05 p.m. contest against the Dayton Dragons. CF Lance Jones managed the two-run knocked out punch when his single back up the middle scored both 3B Mattingly Romanin (single) and 2B Deiferson Barreto (single). Hillsboro SS Manny Jefferson hit his 2nd home run of the second off of Canadians RHP Luis Sanchez in the top of the 2nd inning to record the only run of the afternoon for the Hops. With the victory, Vancouver improves to 6-4 (.600) on the season, while Hillsboro falls to 3-7 (.300). The win also gives Vancouver's the series as the Canadians have now taken three of the first four meetings against the Hops with the final set for Monday, June 27th at 7:05pm. Canadians manager John Tamargo Jr. has scheduled RHP Justin Maese to get the start in the final game of this eight-game home stand. http://i.imgur.com/0wtv8s4.png http://i.imgur.com/EoQPuXt.png http://i.imgur.com/OhDvrYd.png http://i.imgur.com/5vsIEv2.png Kings 3 Stars of the Night 1) Darrell Cecilliani: Cecilliani went 3/4 with a double and a walk. 2) Connor Eller: Eller had a nice professional debut throwing 3.1 innings with 4 strikeouts. 3) John La Prise: La Prise went 2/4 with a triple and a walk. Kings Platinum Arencibia 1) Conner Greene: Greene had a terrible start walking 4 and striking out just 2 in 4 innings.

  12. I saw the Vancouver Canadians game last night on TV. Murphy looked good commanded his fastball well and was touching 94. He worked fastball/curveball/changeup. Biggio looked really good at the plate, it's easy to see why he posted the K/BB that he did in college as well as a sub 10% K rate so far in Vancouver. His plate discipline is really advanced, didn't swing and miss at anything, laid off of pitches that were outside and fouled off anything that was over the plate. His defense at 2B looked really good as well. Hit the ball hard too but still ended up with an 0/3 to show for it. Bryan Lizardo looked completely overmatched at the plate, has a strong arm at 3B. I didn't get much of a read on Gudino, all his plate appearances were pretty quick and only one of them ended with a ball hit out of the infield.
  13. Processed that.

  15. http://i.imgur.com/nvDeQwc.png http://i.imgur.com/fhax8sU.png http://i.imgur.com/kNeKQ5B.png http://i.imgur.com/aA7l6yo.png Buffalo's starting staff may not have a complete game in 2016, but the team's pitching corps continues to be one of the best in the International League. The I-Tribe reached scoring position just twice as the Buffalo Bisons won their fifth straight game, beating the Indianapolis Indians 4-0 at Victory Field Saturday evening. For the first time since his inaugural start of the season, Roberto Hernandez kept the opposition off the board. The 6-foot-4 Dominican worked an efficient six shutout innings, needing just 80 pitches. Hernandez fanned four Indians and allowed just 5 hits and a walk to improve his record to 4-3. Making his first rehab appearance for the Bisons, Blue Jays' lefty Brett Cecil took the hill for the seventh inning. Jason Rogers started the frame with a single to right field but two batters later, Cecil induced a 6-4-3 double play to erase Rogers and end the inning. Pat Venditte threw a 1-2-3 eighth and Dustin Antolin replicated the switch-hander's effort the following frame to end the night. The Herd got on the board with a couple of unearned runs in the third inning. With two out, Alexi Casilla hit a routine grounder to Alen Hanson, but the second baseman nonchalantly threw the ball wide and into the Indian's dugout. With the inning extended, Domonic Brown walked. Matt Dominuez then lined a single into center field to plate Casilla as Brown aggressively took third, narrowly beating the throw to the bag. The designated hitter's extra-effort paid off immediately as Jesus Montero drilled a ball off of the leg of starter Steven Brault, who was unable to locate the loose ball. Brown scampered home on the play to make it a 2-0 contest. The Bisons doubled their lead in the fourth. Darrell Ceciliani scorched a ball past a diving Hanson to get on board for David Adams who belted a controversial bomb over the foul pole in left field. With the three-man umpire crew shifted towards the middle of the diamond, the call was left to home-plate umpire Shane Livensparger who circled his index finger in the air for a home run. That drew plenty of arguments from Indianapolis' infield, pitcher, and most notably, manager Dean Treanor. The Indians bench boss had an extended conversation with Livensparger but kept a cooler head, eventually making his way to the mound to pull Brault from the game. The Bisons' defense continued to help out the team's scoreless innings streak, turning three more double plays for a total of seven in the last two games. The Herd has now gone 20.1 innings without allowing a run. BISONS NOTES: Prior to Saturday's action, Buffalo announced the activation of Darrell Ceciliani and Brett Cecil's start of rehabilitation…David Adams' home run extends his hit streak to six games…Jesus Montero ended the 2-for-4 on a pair of singles and now has 26 multi-hit games…The Herd's pitching staff has moved into a tie for second in the International League with nine shutouts. http://i.imgur.com/Lk4Qqtv.png http://i.imgur.com/lF3E77r.png http://i.imgur.com/5iDubx3.png http://www.milb.com/assets/images/3/7/8/75240378/cuts/Casey_Lawrence_Game_Story_1_akr9vi5n_oj9fmfaq.jpg MANCHESTER - The Force was not with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats' bats Saturday night, as they struggled to score and fell victim to a 4-0 shutout at the hands of the Harrisburg Senators at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The Fisher Cats (32-41) trailed from the first inning onward, and couldn't recapture the magic they had in Friday night's 3-2 walkout victory. The Senators (40-33) benefited from a superb performance from starting pitcher Reynaldo Lopez (W, 3-5), who dealt eight innings of shutout baseball with 10 strikeouts. New Hampshire went 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position. Harrisburg got the scoring going immediately against Fisher Cats starting pitcher Casey Lawrence (L, 2-6). Zach Collier hammered a one-out double to right, and Isaac Ballou drew a walk. Neftali Soto hit a bouncer through the middle that second baseman Christian Lopes mishandled (allowing Collier to score), and Ballou and Soto both scored on a two-out double by Kevin Keyes, giving Harrisburg a 3-0 lead. The Senators extended their lead in the top of the seventh against new reliever Daniel Schlereth. Leadoff man Wilmer Difo drew a walk to reach first base, and an errant pickoff throw by catcher Ryan Lavarnway skittered into the right field corner. Difo made the most of his opportunity, racing around the bases and scoring on the error to make it 4-0 Harrisburg. Lawrence took the loss, allowing three runs (all unearned) on seven hits and three walks over six innings while striking out six. Schlereth gave up an unearned run on a walk in one inning of work. Brady Dragmire tossed two scoreless innings, surrendering one hit and registering one strikeout. The Fisher Cats will try for the series split Sunday afternoon, with right-hander Taylor Cole starting for New Hampshire against Harrisburg righty Reynaldo Lopez. First pitch from Northeast Delta Dental Stadium is at 1:35 p.m., and Charlie Sherman and Ben Gellman have the call starting at 1:15 p.m. on the Fisher Cats Radio Network. http://i.imgur.com/sh8Gz0C.png http://i.imgur.com/cuH31Wn.png http://i.imgur.com/TmRt0Af.png http://i.imgur.com/yG6fZPT.png TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Yankees (1-2, 43-29) squandered a late lead and lost in 12 innings, 6-5, to the Dunedin Blue Jays (2-1, 35-37) on Saturday night at George M Steinbrenner Field. Dunedin captured the series, taking two out of three. The Blue Jays jumped ahead in the first with a pair of runs. Emilio Guerrero reached on a fielder's choice and Ryan McBroom legged out an infield single, placing two on with two out. L.B. Dantzler followed by lining a two-run double into the right-field corner. Tampa responded with run in the bottom of the first. Devyn Bolasky reached on an error by Richard Urena at shortstop. Austin Aune sliced a double down the left field line, scoring Bolasky and cutting the deficit in half. Will Carter followed the first by facing one batter over the minimum throughout the rest of his start. The right-hander held Dunedin to two earned runs on five hits in a career-high seven innings pitched. Carter walked one, struck out five and threw 52 of his 82 pitches for strikes. The Yankees took the lead against RHP Justin Shafer in the sixth. Bolasky and Thairo Estrada each singled and advanced on a slow-rolling groundout to shortstop by Aune. A wild pitch allowed Bolasky to cross the plate, tying the game. Estrada scored the go-ahead run on a fielder's choice grounder by Abiatal Avelino. Tampa added insurance off Shafer in the seventh. Wes Wilson walked and advanced to third on a two-out double by Bolasky. Estrade followed up with a two-run double down the left-field line, giving the Yankees a 5-2 lead. Shafer allowed five runs (four earned) on eight hits in six and two-third innings. The righty walked two, struck out four and threw 62 of 99 pitches for strikes. RHP Dillon McNamara (BS, 3) relieved Carter in the eighth and ran into trouble. Jonathan Davis doubled and Urena walked, bring the tying run to the plate. Guerrero smashed a three-run homer over the left-field wall, tying the game at 5-5. LHP Jonny Drozd (1.0IP, 2H, 2BB, 1K) stranded a pair of base runners in ninth. RHP Willie Gabay (2.0IP, 2K) escaped a threat in the 10th and pitched a 1-2-3 11th in his debut with Tampa. The game remained tied into the 12th and RHP Angel Rincon (L, 0-2) entered as the fifth pitcher for Tampa. After two quick outs, Guerrero lined his second homer of the game over the wall in left-center, giving the Blue Jays a 6-5 lead. LHP Alonzo Gonzalez (2H, 2BB, 5K) held the Yankees scoreless in two and a third innings. RHP Carlos Ramirez (W, 3-0) earned the win with three shutout relief innings, allowing a pair of hits while striking out five. Bolasky (3-for-6, 2B, 3R) and Zack Zehner (3-for-5, SB, CS) collected three hits apiece. Estrada (2-for-4, 2B, BB, 2RBI, R, sac-bunt) reached base three times. Aune (2-for-5, 2B, BB, RBI) recorded his 32nd RBI. Up next, the home-stand continues for Tampa with a series against the Brevard County Manatees beginning on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. LHP Josh Rogers (4-3, 3.75 ERA) is slated to start for the Yankees against RHP Eric Hanhold (2-8, 4.68 ERA) for the Manatees. In his previous start, also against West Michigan, Saucedo (Win, 3-6) had allowed 14 hits and eight runs in five innings. He was better in the encore. The 6-foot-5 left-hander scattered nine Whitecaps hits and two walks in 109 pitches, striking out four batters in the Lugnuts' first nine-inning complete game of the season. It was Saucedo's first professional complete game. He received all the run support that he would need in the first inning, courtesy of a Juan Kelly two-run homer to right off West Michigan starter Fernando Perez (Loss, 2-3). The Lugnuts increased their lead to 3-0 on an Andrew Guillotte bases-loaded hit-by-pitch in the second inning, before putting the game away with a three-run sixth inning. Every member of the Lansing starting lineup hit safely in a 14-hit onslaught. Kelly led the effort, going 3-for-5 with two runs and three RBIs. Second baseman John La Prise was 1-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored, and designated hitter Max Pentecost increased his on-base streak to 20 games with a single, walk and a run scored. 19. Game over
  20. Ryan, 2015 was the best season of your career. You’ve developed so much as a player offensively and defensively, which helped you become so successful and achieve everything you have and will further in the future. Last year, you impressed not only your teammates but all of Canada & Toronto Blue Jays fans of you capability at 2B and SS. Not only after Travis injury were you given an incredible opportunity to start 2B for the extent of the season. 2015 has opened so many doors for you that led onto 2016, For starters, You posted the best numbers of your career in the largest sample size of action that you’ve seen in the big leagues this past season, putting up an Average of .250, an OBP of .318 and added 52 runs and 45 RBI’s in 428 plate appearances at second and at short. On May 23th 2015 when the Jays played Seattle and in the 5th inning you had rolled your right ankle. You then came back the next day on May 24th, in the bottom of the 5th inning again you hit your first home run of the season. Then August 13 2015, you launched your 4th home-run of the season against the Oakland A’s. On Tuesday September 1st 2015, you walked up to the plate in the 10th inning with a man on 1st base and drilled a walk off home-run against the Cleveland Indians & the same day you make a tremendous defensive play. On October 19th in the bottom of 2nd inning in Game 3 of the ALCS you had hit a single which brings in two runs and gave the Jays a 2-1 lead over KC. After in the bottom of the 5th inning with 2 outs and 1 strike, you hit a SOLO HOME-RUN bringing the Jays lead to 10-4. Throughout that game you had also tremendous plays that kept the Royals for getting on base. That game had to be one of the best games of your career , and even after the game in an interview you had said “ I don’t know redemption uh like I said none felt worse about the other day but clear your head on the off day and come back and compete today and it was fun”. Even after what had all happened in Game 2 you had never let it get to you, extremely proud of what you were able to put forward this year and contribute to the Jays success. I’ll always support you no matter what, keep it up!
  21. I would get a restraining order if I were him.
