    I'm curious to see how you come to the conclusion that Paulino is fireballing crap. His numbers are elite at every level, save for a hiccup in the majors with HR problems. He might be a reliever due to shoulder problems and lack of innings pitched but the talent seems there. edit: Not to mention, I would think that he has the potential to be a damn good reliever if that's what it comes to. He has the swing+miss stuff and never had an issue throwing strikes.

    For two AAA relievers. Kinsler is such a badass. Just a consistently great player. People thought he was done 2 months ago but he's rebounded quite well.

    Giles has a better career ERA than Osuna so that argument wouldn't even make sense.

    I suppose it's not a slam dunk win for the Jays if you think Giles is terrible and Paulino + Perez have "middle relief upside"

    Osuna isn't much better than Giles (if at all), and the Jays get Paulino + Perez out of it, and they also get the DV mess out of the way. I don't see how anyone doesn't see this as a slam dunk win for the Jays.
