    That was totally awesome. That kid will remember this for a long time. Part of why KK is becoming my favorite Jay.

    I don't know how Clevinger isn't being called for the balk.

    League was a guy that would probably be a totally different guy with the analytics types. I don't know how he didn't have 15+k/9. Pop could build into that mold if he can do what the analytics call for.

    That genuinely made me laugh.

    He can only replace a pitcher. Even if Espinal goes on the IL, he can only be replaced by a batter. So a pitcher must be getting tossed.

    Looks like Manoah just didn't feel comfortable on the Toronto mound. Seems better in other places.

    Roster development would be radically different if offense and defense was split. A lot of players might make rosters that would otherwise have no chance.

    Yeah I was thinking something similar. Maybe if you pull the pitcher when you're either tied or ahead, then you lose your dh. I'd be better with that.

    Interesting, it would basically stop the opener concept so that it would only be done when truly necessary. Also for pitchers that just suck in their planned starts, it would just haul off their DH making a comeback harder.

    That's what I thought: and then wanted somebody to clean up for them.

    Which airline gives out popcorn anyway? I've never seen that on any plane I've been on. EVER.

    Exactly what I thought. Guess he wasn't flying first class.

    read an interesting article about Anthony Bass ripping the airlines for not cleaning up after his kids and making his pregnant wife do it. If she can't handle the kids, don't travel with them. Just lost big respect for a Blue Jay. Too entitled.

    We could really use a lefty in the pen so I'm hoping big time for this guy, but learning control isn't the easiest thing.

    Hopefully the next start is a good one. Don't be too surprised if Kirk doesn't catch it.

    Manoah just looks so uncomfortable on this mound and Kirk's pitch calling and set-up seems off.

    I'm starting to think Kirk can't call a game. He may be good at setting up and painting the corner and so on, but maybe the game he calls sucks.

    JB interview now: he's saying the hit was above the knee. Probably stings like a bitch and will bruise, but should be okay. Maybe Vladdy should have saved the ice bath for this bruise.
