  1. Don't know if I'd waste Garcia and maybe use Pearson instead. Up 4-0 may be a good spot for him.
  2. Berrios has been worth the price of admission!! Honourable mention to Biggio and Babe
  3. Disagree. First at bat a worm burner to 3b Second: Weak worm burner to 3b Third: Okay, he hit a double.
  4. there should be some reaction but it'll be small
  5. Used to be Johnny's at 2 am after a night at some joint.
  6. Shulman just reviewed Spencer Horwitz with his .536 OBA at AAA. Said there's no place for him on the roster. I've got several places for him.
  7. Yes and he was also a lefty hitting outfielder. Travis SNider
  8. He's not the problem with this batting order. A lot of bigger problems.
  9. I remember in Buck's day that in the first inning, you have to establish your fastball. And then add in your other pitches. Jim Clancy was a great example of that.
  10. I like Francis' splitter. Love what it did to Soto.
  11. We're sitting the hitters today so that the turds can get their at-bats. MANAGEMENT.
  12. I'd imagine Berrios would be a fine pinch runner for Vogelbach and not use up a bat.
  13. Here's a thought: Dump Vogelbach, bring up Horwitz and platoon him at 1b.
  14. Remember, umps give more favourable calls to Yankees. The Babe would have to expect that.
  15. Yep: switch to hockey. SHATKINS needs to learn how to spend $200 million.
  16. This game is over. Wasted time.
  17. Remember the day he hit a homer and then sat the bench? The Managing Turd reported the best chance of winning the next game was without him. We got one hit that day. So Babe on the pine makes sense.
  18. Maybe Moneyball was correct about Shapiro: no idea what he's doing and relies only on bad advice. In the movie he had a big group of advisors but didn't know which one to go to. He had a bad offseason and the prior one he gave away a great catcher and power outfielder and acquired 4th outfielder. Time to send Shapiro away.
  19. The good part is the team has money to invest in the resources. The bad part is that the senior management don't know how to develop the assets or which assets to acquire.
