    Your right rape is rape. Having never had the misfortune of being abused I really shouldn't have opened my mouth. Alas, I'm mighty f***ing frustrated and the gin has certainly not helped my demeanor. Appologies to anyone who has been victimized. Tough day.

    I don't disagree. He won a Cy. I just don't get all the hooplah surrounding his childhood abuse. Although, all of this frustration is likely stemming from his poor performance this year, I just don't feel the same empathy I would for a Sheldon Kennedy or Theo Fleury.

    Sorry dude, I guess I'm just propagating rape culture. f***, I'm a catholic kid from Newfoundland. Half the kids I grew up with were interfered with sexually, one way or another. They didn't go on to use it as a crutch. If someone f***s you up enough you either let it weigh you down or you grow up and settle your score. Whether thats a lawsuit, an asskicking or a convenient career as a correctional officer thats up to you. Their are far more satisfying and effective ways to vent. Writing a novel about it, thats about as soft as it gets.

    I think this guy might just be milking the asbergers just a tad. I realise that there are varying degrees of functionability related to this condition, but generally most people lead quite normal lives. My best mate has a mild case, he lives quite comfortably as computer programmer with his girl and a dog. Either way thougu props on him for finding an outlet.

    I get the SSS issues, however, there is something about Stroman's makeup that makes me far,far more comfortable with him then with Nolin. His stuff is miles ahead of Nolin. Though you are right, if we are to contend neither of these guys should be anywhere near our 25.

    Marcus Stroman disagrees.. I see no reason to think he can't be a viable starter by opening day next year.

    Call Rogers, ask to be connected directly to customer retention. Tell them that their removal of ROD was done without any notice or consent. Let them know that your actively considering switching to Bell, regardless of whatever the termination fee. Watch them counter, I bet you get ROD free for a year and a few free POV movies to boot.

    I think it's quite simple. He needs to pound the lower half, preferably while mixing in a healthy dose of junk to keep everyone honest. Whether he has the confidence and composure to do this, we'll see.
