    Now, on a more serious note. Anyone know any starters currently in MLB rotations under 5'11? I can't think of many, it'll be nice if the "Stro Show" can have a Tom Gordon like impact.

    I love the scrappy vibe I'm getting with Pillar. Perhaps a Grinder? Someone in the mold of Reed Johnson/Sam Fold? I say promote em. If he proves he can handle a couple months at AAA , call him up,we could use a little obp. Great dh/LF against a tough lefty.

    So one big name at around 1.5 and three guys around 300K a pop seems like a decent way to go. Though one never really can read AA's mind.

    Definitly. Even if it was a hobbled up Rolen. Sure beats the Troy Glaus days. I still shudder at the thought of him playing SS during interleague games. He looked like a villain from Scooby Doo out there.

    I'm in the same boat except for a switch of Machado and Longoria. Machado and Lawrie actually remind me alot of one another. Both love the bare hand moneymakers.

    Beltre. Machado is up there too. I don't think Longoria, Wright or Moose are better.

    I think it's alittle uncalled for. He's a young player and doesn't necessarily know all the ins and outs yet. I might think he's a tool but their is no way I drill him. If I'm Collins I call for retaliation next inning. God knows I could see 2011 or even current Brett Lawrie doing this.
