    I'd be fine with the 3 catchers if Thole had more playing time vs RHP, Navarro played all the games at DH vs LHP and Kratz caught all the games against LHP. With Happ or Rogers being optioned/DFAd to make room for Mastro or Pillar to play CF in a platoon with Rasmus.

    I think with Francisco up that is now the plan. Tolleson at 2B/3B vs LHP, Kratz catching and Navarro at DH. Ideally we bring up Mastro/Pillar and play them in CF as well and platoon all three left handed bats, that cannot hit LHP.

    I can't believe that the A's keep running Barton out there. He was great a few years back but he hasn't done anything the MLB since 2010.

    After watching Navarro move last night they need to DL him and run with Kratz/Thole, Gets/Tolleson, Gose/Mastro/Pillar and Francisco as the bench for a while.

    Oakland and Pittsburgh (the other two teams I follow) both go on binges. Oakland with OF and RP and Pittsburgh with pitchers. I'm actually hoping Pittsburgh sweeps this series, one I want them in the playoffs, two I want the Jays to do so poorly that we need to fire AA and Beeston.

    Baseball is the only sport I can enjoy on TV, leave it on and read a book, pay attention when something occurs. Unless it's the A's, they have some entertaining baseball.

    I'd like to see a 7 man 'pen so that we can bring both Kratz and Mastro up. Play Kratz vs LHP and DH Navarro.

    I'd like to see Happ and Sierra optioned/DFAd respectively with Getz and Mastro brought up.

    I'm thinking with how gassed that Orioles 'pen is if we can strike early tomorrow we have a really strong chance of just making it burn even worse. I can't think of a team in baseball that I hate outside of Baltimore.

    I like Thole, he just hasn't been the same since his concussion in 2012. That being said unleash the Kratz.

    Apparently all we need is to have the bases loaded all the time for Lawrie, 6-12 career is pretty good for how inconsistent he is every other time he's at the plate.

    In his healthy years McGowan's slider was ridiculous for a starting pitcher. I still think Santos's slider is up there, and that monster Lilly curve - slow, huge break and would still somehow catch the zone.

    I'd like to see a Cabrera, Bautista, Lind, Encarnacion, Navarro, Rasmus, Lawrie, Izturis, Diaz line up at the moment.

    Like a true Cardinal wannabee the Oriole's are the other birds that can aim "line" drives.

    On my PC, phone and Xbox it works very well. The odd stutter or lag spike. On my PS3 it is unusable, it constantly chugs and freezes.

    So far I haven't had problems on the phone, PC or PS3 in Ottawa, tonight will be the deciding factor I think though.

    I'm really hoping we start the season with Janssen on the DL, hopefully Happ as well. It gives us the chance to run the 4 man bench and have a 'pen of Rogers/Redmond/McGowan as the 5th starter/2 relievers, Jeffress (as they don't seem to want to waive him), Loup, Cecil, Delabar, Santos. It seems to be what is best for the team right now. I'm glad to see Sanchez, Pillar and Johnson go down.

    I wonder if the Tigers would take one of Janssen, Santos or Delabar, with Izturis and Sierra for Porcello.

    If it came down to a bench of Izturis, Gose, Kratz and Tuisasopo or Sierra would you prefer Sierra or T? Personally I like T, more versatility off the bench. I still agree with your Kratz should be starting vs LHP and Navarro DHing.

    I could only ever pitch with my right hand, as far as commanding breaking/off speed goes but with my fastball I was within 3-4 miles of my right hand with my left. I pitched right handed, hit right handed and fielded left handed.

    His routes have looked silly at times, he's made some questionable throws instead of hitting the cut off guy.

    My biggest issue with Gose is looking back on that year in AA, 20+ hrs, good OBP, supposedly had phenomenal defence in CF and then he comes to AAA/MLB, can't steal, can't field, can't hit, can't throw, shows no pop, doesn't walk. It's like watching Snider all over again, but not to the extent of mismanagement.
