    Merry Christmas everyone. Also the Wii is the console for the PC Master Race. I can get 85% of what is on the PS3 and XBone on my PC for cheaper and it runs better if the developer isn't a trash can.

    My understanding is that last off season he eased back on it, the year before he was on it fully. It sounds like he was worn out early in the year or his muscles couldn't catch up to where they needed to be.

    Yep, McCarthy got his velocity back this year and it's made a huge change.

    I mentioned it in the Winter Meetings thread but it's worth talking about. Latos traded to Miami for DeScalfani and Wallach. Seems a pretty poor return.

    I'm unsure if Bruce was because of the shifts or injury that he had such a down year. He's as pull happy as Jose once was. I'd rather have Bruce than Cabrerra, and I'd rather have Tomas over both.

    Berti, Burns and Sikula would be my adds. Two bench pieces and a potential bullpen arm.

    You keep Martin and see if you can move Navarro (or use him as a back up) and move Dickey and Thole.

    Do the Rockies have another year on Morneau or was it a one year deal? I can see them using Cuddyer at first but I don't see an OF spot for him there.

    I wasn't opposed to moving Lind if it gives us better payroll and positional flexibility. Being able to DH EE, Lawrie, Bautista, Reyes and Cabrera if he's re-signed once a week would certainly help keep them fresh. I'm not a huge Estrada fan but it's not a completely s*** trade. He has had decent xFIPs the past few years.

    I guess Daniel Norris won MiLB pitcher of the year, Kendall Graveman came second and Pompey won breakout player of the year.

    I want the Nats to win but their bats have gone silent so far.

    He's pure class. I'm really hoping that we keep him and move Dickey this winter if we need to move a pitcher as it also means we can dump Thole.

    I'd like to see them go 80-82, might mean we see some change.

    I knew Kluber was good, but for some reason I thought it was more in the Doc Halladay ground ball machine sense rather than striking out everyone.

    Jackson has a 4.33 FIP and a 4.04 xFIP, he's had a very unlucky season. McCann has been worth 2.1 fWAR before you include framing, which I believe he is positive in that being said he is being overpaid. Bogaerts has struggled but he's still a valuable piece to keep around agreed.

    JPR isn't the one that extended Wells, it was Paul Godfrey. The rumoured trade was Wells to the Dodgers with us eating salary for Matt Kemp and Chad Billingsly and the only reason that we don't know if it would've gone through is our ownership wanting Wells. I really wonder how much the turf has screwed around with Rasmus, if he's complaining of sore hips and bad hammies. It makes me wonder how much of Wells leg issues were turf related.

    Hank Aaron apparently used Adderal for what it's worth. I think it's a stupid suspension. It would be like not allowing Morrow or McGowan to use insulin pumps, or Ted Lilly to use anti-depressants.

    Pentecost, Nessy, Jensen if you include catchers for IF. Matt Dean is intriguing as well, has insane bat speed.

    Could always use EE as your DH and use Lind and Mayberry at 1st vs RHP and LHP respectively. It's not like EE is some amazing defensive 1B, he's worse at it than Lind is and it's not a terrible platoon to have.
