    I've watched this game since the Shawn Green Days. Maybe you're not as passionate for the Jays as I'am, but when they lose I get bummed out. When they lose s***** games, I get pissed off. And when they play sloppy like they have in the past 2 weeks, I start to question if the weakness isn't temporary. As I said before, I'd be content if we lost 10 games in a row, and in all those 10 games we played quality baseball. But all our losses have been pretty pathetic baseball. Sorry to step into the positivity thread with negativity. I'll bow out. Maybe we should have a thread for something inbetween

    But that doesn't matter. What matters is where we're heading, and at this rate, with how the entire team is playing, we're going downhill. Hutch has been inconsistent and unreliable. We do not know what we're going to get from Dickey or Stroman. Our relief corp is injured and ineffective. The defense has suddenly gone to s***. Francisco should not be playing, but he still can't make the routine plays. Tolly seemingly bobbles the ball and extends innings and pitching counts. The only thing this team has going forward is the offense. The offense can't be THIS bad. Although I did expect Francisco to regress a ton, I did not expect him to K 4 times a game all the time and swing at terrible pitches. He's pretty much a guaranteed out right now. I could feel OK about our performance if we got swept by the Yankees big-time starters. But we faced two scrubs and they pitched like seasoned veterans. We faced junkballers ever since the Cardinals series and we turned them into Cy Youngs. I'm not happy about that.

    It just reaffirms to things: 1.) Dbacks continue to live up to being the whiniest, butthurt franchise in baseball from the top to the bottom 2.) Kirk Gibson is dum Also helps that the Dbacks are terrible this year. I liked the quote at the end of the game from Lohse talking about how they can keep winning the tough guy game, but there is no stat for it.
