    Finished reading the full article and Lind was very honest, but very glowing about the Jays. He even dabbled in some trivia, and remembers all the hits Cabrera had last year.

    I don't think he was pointing to Bautista and Buehrle as clubhouse cancers, it's just that everyone looks up to them. Could go either way. But who else on the team could really be cancers that we've had for several years? Reyes? Can't be. Dickey? I could see him as a loner rather than a cancer. Edwin? I could see the guy sticking to the Dominos, but that's not bad.

    What did I do to earn NJH's wrath?! Use ERA in evaluating pitchers? Annoint Goins as our 2B of the future?! Proclaim JPA as a future Mike Piazza?!! Cause seriously, all I did was the last one.

    Well his velocity drop is going to make his change-up easier to adjust to. Not sure what's up with his curveball. And at that weight and age, another reinjury to that knee is bound to happen.

    Yeah I read it last night but I didn't think it to be too bad. It's comparable to hazing. It's a lot more tamed now than before. Now we just have players dressed in outfits and paraded in airports.

    I don't have much of an issue with what happened - it was a different time back then, different culture and expectations. It does lower Ripken on the 'respect' totem pole, though. I'm more disturbed by the treatment of Reimold in the clubhouse, though. It seems in the past 3 years we've been discussing this clubhouse chemistry thing a ton. Does this start with Bautista? Gibby? Upper management?

    I remember being on bluejaysway (a popular message board before the official forum mlb ones) and I called out so many people on foolish stuff and for being 2nd guessers. I even put it on my signature all their original quotes which embarrassed them. I got banned for that.

    It's not fair to 2nd guess. It's easy to say now not to trade him cause Profar is just as useless as Dominic Brown was, another #1 bust. Would you do Bryant for Bautista though? Cause in 2 years, we could be saying that Bryant is just as bad.

    2015 Predictions -The Jays will have 2 pitchers with +15 wins (Hutch & Stroman) -Sanchez will get demoted from the closer role -Bautista will not hit more than 30 HR, but he will have an .OBP around 370-400 -Donaldson will hit 40 bombs -The Jays infield will have the most infield errors in the AL (did you know that despite Donaldson being known as a top fielder, he had the 3rd most errors in the majors?) -Pompey won't hit better than .250 and will end up in a platoon

    This team isn't willing to spend money on a reliever. What makes you think they'll drop +$70m on an unproven player? This guy could end up like Puig...or Viciedo.

    It wasn't too long ago that we had the starting or reliever question for Stroman early on in 2014. We're having the same stuff about that with Sanchez. Who knows what we'll be talking about in 2015...
