    At first I couldn't understand why something silly such as this could go viral but I guess I see it now. Some people are adamant that they see color set 1 while the other group are insistent that see color set 2. Makes you go WTF?! Those llamas yesterday though..

    This is a popular move just because of the name. Get over the excitement guys and put your expectations down to 0. It's like trading/signing a Vernon Wells or a Ryan Howard. The performance no longer equals the name.

    thankfully there are more opportunities to hit righties than lefties, so he still has tremendous value.

    I don't like having black holes in the line-up. Sure, the top 5 are great, but hitters will fail 2/3 of the time. I'd hate to give an opposing pitcher a 10-pitch easy inning and they can head back to the dugout and rest and come out on momentum. Either way, can't do much about it.

    afaik they asked him to try out CF but before they could get started he got traded. But if they were comfortable sending him there in the first place, well, I doubt there would be an issue. If this team is willing to put a guy like E5 in LF last year, then surely they'd consider Travis.

    Hmm true, I thought Saunders was going to be a FA after this season. I guess he can still contribute. but I'm a believer in Happ - he was a different pitcher this season than previously and it was all a change in mindset. That being said, I'd hate to have Happ take a spot away from Norris, so I guess I would have traded someone else for him.

    I think it's good overall for the sport. For the casual fan, baseball is very boring because of all that lolly-gagging that goes on during the action. The pitcher going off the mound, the hitter going in circles, e.t.c. I understand Ortiz's argument but it can go the other way as well. Pitchers may need time to rethink their pitching sequence based on what happened in the previous pitch (like when a hitter fouled a fastball straight back - should I throw another fastball but out of the zone or play against them and throw an off-speed?) But I think the biggest disruption in this change is the hitter's comfortability. These mannerisms make the hitter comfortable. Removing that could take awhile to get used to.
