    We should've paid a premium anyway. AA surely recognized that we have a window closing with our current team (1-2 years). If you had to pick a time to overspend and push that bullpen over the hump, this offseason was the time to do it.

    Dad's say the darnest things. It's real hard to not go all full-tilt rage mode at them. My dad saw a few ground balls escape the reach of Jonathan Diaz this weekend and he proclaimed that this guy's defense is not good.

    I'm just salivating at the thought of what those two will bring back. I don't think we can go in a full rebuild like the Braves, but a partial one that 'resets' the club. But we're going to need another offensive bat to protect Donaldson. Reyes, Bautista and Encarnacion will all leave, and I'm not comfortable just having Donaldson as a threat.
