  1. BTS is like: http://i.imgur.com/spKuQbd.gif
  2. I don't want to see him fail, I'm just very bearish on him. He's still an excellent 4th outfielder, though.
  3. I told everyone he was black Eric Hinske..
  4. I think it's clear his weakness. Pitch him either away or up. He'll pull the ball into a pop up
  5. Mookie. Insane bat speed, great speed and great defense.
  6. I don't regret any of those moves at all. Could we have used Lind's bat? Sure, but he would occupy at least two positions and the surplus from his bat isn't as good at the surplus we get at 1b with Smoak when we use him. I would have loved to try Morrow as a reliever but he's destined to be a starter, and he is a time bomb. I would have kept Jannsen, even though he's injured right now. I think he said the Jays didn't even make him an offer. Cheapskates.
  7. I don't think the Jays will care much about the bromance between the two. This is the same team that tore up the three headed monster of Synder/Sanchez/Nicolino
  8. Pundits like Keith Law like to s*** on the mental/emotional aspect of the game. I think there is tremendous value in it. So I'd prefer the guy who gives up 3 runs in 6 innings every single start. That gives you a good chance to win each game and probably the series. It can establish momentum and a winning streak.
  9. I don't think it would have been a weak staff. Stroman obviously leads the pack, and Dickey and Buehrle are at worst, average starters that go 5. At best, they give you 7 innings with 4 runs or w/e I don't think anybody expected Hutch to look like s*** so far. And the 5th starter I have no problem giving to Norris.
  10. Not only that, but how about Pillar? He's had at least 2 games that I recall where his glove saved us from losing. His bat has been meh, but it's been very clutch and he's had a few games here or there with key runs. We're extremely lucky that the schedule has the AL East teams facing each other so frequently this early on to only make us 2 games behind 1st.
  11. I don't see how that's fair for Philly. Hamels is a lefty ace with a 'relatively' good contract (compared to what someone with his pedigree would get if he were a FA). Sanchez would be considered 'top prospect' material, but if I were Amaro I'd ask for one more.
  12. Do the Braves have any pitchers on their rotation that we could use? We should do a mega blockbluster trade with them. Pitcher + Simmons + Freeman. At that point I'll be willing to offer some combination like Hoffman, Sanchez, Castro, Nay, e.t.c. + Reyes
  13. it's all second hand of course but I posted a link awhile back that talked about several instances where their friend was messaged on instagram and he was very pushy. Stroman is young, confident and certainly going to be very rich very soon so I can definitely see him get his game on. Hopefully he'll be able to control his game and avoid all the gold diggers. Gold digging girls are pretty prevalent in the NBA and I'm sure it's no different here in the MLB (remember when we had Ladies nights here?)
  14. So we have an option year on him? We could always pick it up and somehow will want to trade something valuable for him.
  15. Saunders should not be on this club. He needs to be rehabbing if he is this terrible in the OF.
