  10. uh oh, Donaldson limping
  11. Saunders looks atrocious
  12. Carrasco is good. Need to get as many runs before he Porcellos us
  13. Good start for the Jays and good start for BTS's GDT career
  14. Let's hope Travis doesn't catch a case of Brian Robertsitus
  15. I always felt Sanchez would be the first one to go, but now I get why Norris is down. At least with Sanchez they can immediately slot into the BP. With Norris they still see him as a starter, and he's still in dead arm phase, so letting him go through that in Buffalo is better than sending Sanchez.
  16. Can't wait for those 55 mph curveballs.
  17. If I were the Reds GM I'd definitely ask. Doesn't mean it will happen. Gotta set the bar somewhere. Either way, GMs go crazy at the deadline, and the extra wildcards just bring more buyers into the equation.
  18. Some quotes from everyone's favorite AGM http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/farm-report-hoffman-tellez-progress-for-jays/ “He’s in extended (spring) right now, he topped at 97 the other day, so his arm strength is back,” says LaCava - On Cardona "LF Dwight Smith (.321/.365/.474, 2 HRs, 10 RBIs) – “We’ve taken (the switch to second base) off his plate. We saw plenty of it in spring training, we may revisit it in the future, but right now he’s going to concentrate on left field. He’s a solid left-fielder, and it looks like he’s starting to heat up, swinging the bat well" RIP Pompey RP Bo Schultz (1-1, 2.89 ERA, 5 saves, 0.75 WHIP) – “He’s been good. Power pitcher, he’s starting to become consistent with his slider, we’re encouraged with that.”
  19. I don't want Cueto. Walk year for a guy determined to get the most money. They'll ask for Hoffman, minimum.
  20. http://wealthyadventurer.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/header.jpg
  21. good run down on arguments for both sides of the Yanks vs Arod contract dispute http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/writer/jon-heyman/25169996/inside-baseball-what-you-need-to-know-about-a-rod-vs-yankees-more-notes
  22. I guess that rules out injury.
  23. To be honest, I'm getting quite discouraged with Saunders. Going into the season, absolutely Saunders > Pillar. But after watching him play and his sloth-like tendencies in the outfield, I'm afraid we now have a player that can only hit. And his bat may even be questionable now too. Knee injuries = power sap He looks worse than Melky Cabrera in the outfield.
  24. Travis to DL with cracked collarbone?
