I'm not positive, but I think Sanchez threw 6 or so 4 seam fastballs last night....might be a sign that they will be adding it back to Stroman? -

Not really a coincidence. Happ, Stroman, and Sanchez are GB pitchers which decrease pitches per inning and except for Happ and Stroman in the last 2 weeks or so they have pitched great which will also decrease pitches per inning. Estrada is there because his changeup and ability to throw it whenever induces a lot more swings (pitches in the zone) but a ton of pop ups and easy fly balls.

He is more likely on a pitch limit vs an innings limit due to his ability to throw more innings on less pitches than other pitchers.

That's what makes this one worse. We got blown out in everything yesterday. Today we should have easily blown them out with Sanchez pitching a CG...instead...blown 2-0 lead in the 9th when they had 1 hit and lost in extras. Mentally I think this one hurts a lot more imo

For the sake of the team something has to change with the offense. They have cost us probably more games than the pen. 9 walks...6 hits...only 1 hit with a runner on base (might be 2). 0 hits with RISP. Guy on 3rd less than 2 outs twice...no runs. That's is the sole reason we lost. 1 sac fly and we win 3-2 tonight. Amazing start by Sanchez!!!!!!!

So what changes will there be for tomorrow's game. I'm guessing 4 things will change. 1. Lineup...back to a normal lineup 2. No Bautista or Edwin (1 will not start) 3. Travis will probably have the day off 4. Clean innings for the bullpen at the expense of the starter. 5. Hopefully a batter steps up and calls everyone else out....Barney maybe? -
I hope Bautista and Edwin get benched...what a crap fest they are. Selfish terrible hitters. Cost us a game when a easy fly ball gives us 1 run and another gives us 2 more runs. I am glad when they are gone.

Yep, they all want to be the hero. I think it will come back to them how they approached the game last season...hopefully soon.

Same as last time...men on base all offspeed gets out of a jam...terrible approach at the plate to the point it can only be explained by 1 thing. They didn't care about scoring just wanted a HR

He has been throwing a lot more high fastballs with 2 strikes as well...could be a 4 seam some?

I think it will depend on Sanchez's health. If he is tiring or his pitches lose the type of quality I think he would go to the pen. But if he keeps getting stronger like he has been and we are headed towards the playoffs then I bet he would stay as a starter but might skip his start a few times to give him more rest.

There should be appeals...but they should be heard immediately, no delaying it until yiu can get to the league office etc.

How many DPs has Travis hit into?...he had flown out to center 2 times tonight. That was a horrible decision if that's why they did it imo.

Not many on our team are right now...where have Bautista and Donaldson been. They have 0 excuses. Travis has been out almost a year and due to Goins hitting even worse than Travis he was forced back too soon.

Why on Earth would you do a hit and run with 1st and 3rd and 1 out...and Martin gets caught at 3rd...so dumb. Gibby destroyed that inning himself

This is the entire problem with this offense. Kansas City last year showed just stay away from the middle of the plate and our hitters will never adjust...teams just keep using that approach and we still try and pull everything

Hitting coach has to be fired...this team is bottom 5 is hits, beyond terrible for a lineups with this many Allstar caliber hitters
