    I could see the White Sox asking for him, just not realistic though, I think. As a 1 for 1 the value isn't even close to equal imo. Would be interesting if we could get him for prospects though...how many contending teams are looking for a 1B/DH?

    Not even close. We are talking about a .260 hitter with like 7 HRs at this moment. I'd say Connor Greene, Tellez, and maybe a low level OF prospect. Abreu would cost more than most cause of control but nothing at all close to Sanchez or Stroman

    I saw on mlbtraderumors that the White Sox are willing to trade their veteran hitters including Eaton and Abreu. If we can't get a SP due to price would trading for Abreu be possible. It would be a huge upgrade at 1B over Smoak imo and Abreu hitting in our lineup would make him 10 times better as well. He has had a kind of down year, so I think he would cost a lot less than a SP and he is controlled through 2019 I think. Would this be a possible trade target if we can't get a SP?

    Last 3 innings have looked amazing. Good spots on the 2seam, slider hitting on point, even thrown 4 or 5 good looking changeups, and worked in a few 4 seam fastballs. Start of the game he gave up a few hits but mostly ground balls.

    Great changeup for the K there. Side note: not that it matters for the most part, but Martin is tipping each pitch Stroman (and other pitchers throw) by the angle of his glove.

    Arizona is swing at every strike...doesn't matter the pitch type or location...that's how you limit Ks, and put the ball in play. Teams have bee doing this more and more against Stroman

    That's how the Oakland game started...Stroman looked better to the last 3 batters that inning. Going to be interesting if his slider looks like that. Might see more curves like the 1st inning.

    I miss typed the Travis part...meant to say why isn't he leading off. I think Travis would be a better fit in LF in this emergency situation

    I just think Gibby went the complete wrong direction here. Barney leading off over Travis is stupid imo. Also, Barney playing LF instead of Travis is questionable as well. If I am right, didn't Travis play in the OF when he was coming up in the minors. Seems like he would be the one playing the OF in an emergency situation like today.
