  1. I wonder if Yariel can be a better version of Stroman in the long run
  2. Jansen with another error on a SB. Came up way short on the throw a 2nd time. Essentially 2 errors, a passed ball, a pop up and a K looking in 3.5 innings
  3. 4th inning Manoah ran out of gas. 2 of his 4 spin outs of his delivery happened. Gave up a double on a first pitch slider over the middle. Then walked the next batter. Slider after the first inning wasn't good, but mainly because they were all over the middle Given the weather the fastball was actually pretty good and accurate for much of the day
  4. Third inning a mixed bag for Manoah Fastball was lower 90s coming off sitting for the long half inning. Wood poked a cha geup up 5 inches off the plate the oppo way for a single. He stole 2B, Jansen error, he went to 3B (Jansen looking bad today) 11 pitch AB to Yepez for an RBI single. 9/11 pitches were strikes Line drive to RF had the RF wanting to dive but pulled off for a short hop off the glove for a double Pop up sac fly against the shift Stikeout Line out to Manoah Lots of fastballs, velo started increasing in the inning by the end
  5. Love the challenge system on balls/strikes. P/C have to do it immediately after a pitch. Can't get help from the dugout or even look to the dugout. Quick and seemingly accurate. Should be in the MLB in a year or 2
  6. Barger walked and Orelvis had a 102.8 mph single to right field. Really impressed with both of them to start this season, especially given the s*** weather. Both hitting the ball hard and making good swing decisions. Barger playing a lot of 3B and Orelvis 2B. Both could be upgrades to the big league team. I think that is the Jays plan at some point this season
  7. Fastballs over the plate on the line drives. He looks really focused on throwing strikes with the fastball. A bunch of good location ones, but missed a few over the middle
  8. Manoah hung 2 sliders for singles in the 2nd. Fastball again looked good for the most part minus a few high balls. Got 2 line outs and another K
  9. Very good 1st inning for Manoah. Fastball had good velo and movement. Slider had a few very good ones with 2 plane movement like he used to. He was 2-2 on his pitch challenges Weak single to SS then SB Wood weak ground out to Manoah Weak chopper to Manoah that he tried to bare hand, R scored Passed ball on Jansen Strikeout Strikeout
  10. Feels like low to mid 30s F again in Buffalo, Jays really need to move to a warm weather for the AAA and AA teams
  11. 4/13 Vladito- LTBF
  12. Get the old craps off the team
  13. Once again Jays start the season s***** and it perfectly coincides with the Jays punting spring training, shocker
  14. April 12 Vladdy - 1 Point Bichette - 2 Points - Dylan Turner - 2 Points - Omar Springer - 3 Points - wilko, LTBF Varsho - 4 Points - mphenhef Kirk - 5 Points - Ang Biggio - 5 Points - Jonn, Spanky Kiner-Falefa - 7 Points Kiermaier - 7 Points - Abomination The Bench (Any PH): 10 Points
  15. This thread will be a legend. Starting a huge win streak while banned, L54 will never be forgotten
  16. He has thrown 55 and 47 pitches. Maybe a long opener or split starter with Francis or White
  17. Its not building up arm strength. Its the Jays specific plan going with the limited pitches. He has mentioned multiple times he is good to pitch deep even last season, but can/could only throw what the team let's him
  18. His last two starts Kirby has looked like Manoah, not because of command, but bad stuff getting hit left and right
  19. Pitch count limits hurt innings pitched. He can only throw what they let him
  20. At least it's not George Kirby
  21. Tiedemann looked more like himself today with the temperature finally hitting 60 F for him. 3.2 IP, 73 pitches. 3 H (2 HR), 3 BB, 2 HBP, 2 ER, 7 K. Lots of whiffs
