  1. Del Rosario had a nice chance there
  2. Head to head contact, that was ugly
  3. Nice bounce there straight to Defoe who buries it, though the pass up to Gilberto was the key play
  4. Gonna tune in to the second half and see what's happening.
  5. Yup, and none up until then. Baseball is such a funny game when it comes to sequencing
  6. You don't manage spring training games based on the score...
  7. Hah, no kidding. Apparently they just realized Redmond is throwing strikes and should probably be aggressive
  8. Must be sarcasm. He's scheduled for 6 and breezed through 5
  9. Wow, wonder what Eastwood would have thought about that sound.
  10. Was a decent pitch too, down and in probably right on the inside corner
  11. Lol, can you imagine... Instead of platooning a hitter based on lefty/righty... Platooning starters based on gb/fb tendencies in small/big parks. The new market inefficiency!
  12. As good as Goins looked the other day with the bat, he looks terrible today, swinging at s*** all over the place
  13. Redmond? He was DFA'd by cinci last spring, claimed by Baltimore, then DFA'd again and Jays claimed him.
  14. I wonder what Tabata would cost, at least has some tools to work with, no non-regressed platoon splits to speak of really. Not a great defender in the OF though
  15. Lawrie got the RBI there, but really he should have let one go ... Was not a good pitch to hit
  16. Well sure, but I mean either Mayberry or Tabata for DH instead of Sierra with your wOBA or wRC+ projections
  17. I don't see much difference in Redmond vs Rogers from a results standpoint. Totally different pitchers in that Redmond is far more about mixing pitches and command, while Rogers is more of a power pitcher. Rogers has better overall stuff I think, but Redmond knows how to make his stuff play up.
  18. Redmond rally keeping the Tigers off balance... Very impressive so far
  19. Dombrowski already stated they aren't interested in Drew right now. Granted that may change if their current in house options stink up the place
  20. Lawrie a little jumpy today on those first pitches...
