  1. What did he do? My west feed switched to the Oakland game pretty much 5 seconds after pillar scored
  2. Would have been fine, Gose would have been at 3rd still with only 1 out. The would walk Reyes to setup the DP, the Melky would be up. Then Gibbons would call a double steal, Reyes takes off for second and soon as that rookie catcher let it go, Gose would have ripped down the line and stolen home. So that's a long way of saying no, I had no problem sending him there
  3. No argument here. If robo umps are ever allowed though, I think hitters would be f***ed even more than they are now. How many time do you see balls in the bottom and top of the zone not called strikes when they just barely touch the edge of the zone?
  4. It's well known that all LHB get the shaft on the outside corner of the strike zone. It's too bad really
  5. So basically.....A typical black guy
  6. I saw that too. On his way to another shutout probably too, was only at 62 pitches through 5 innings. Had 12 groundouts
  7. It's really depressing to see nothing near the strike zone, yet Lawrie is down 0-2....
  8. Wow. Made Francisco look really bad there. Helped out by the ump on strike 2 but hey, still dusted him like he wasn't even there
  9. Their GM came from the St. Louis franchise, who despite having mostly inbred retards as fans, run a very good organization from top to bottom, so it's not surprising to see Luhnow getting respect. He's built a hell of a farm system in the past few years
  10. Unless there is language that specifically grants free agency, he would still be under team control and the Jays could either non tender him, or offer a contract under arbitration guidelines
  11. Reyes (3pts) -Frenchsoup, Gen.Disarray, vdub, johnhavok Melky (2pts) -bowld, Glock, o2cui2i Bautista (1pt) - flafson, Dylan, wilko, Orgfiller, jaysguy34, LetTheBallFly Guarantee Point Eddy (1pt) - JaysAllMighty Lind (2pts) - Solaxys, Spanky99, Chappy, Deadpool, GD Big Juan (1pt) - Navarro (5pts) - Lawrie RedBull guy (2pts) - Stangstag, Angrioter Kratz (6pts) - Pillar (7pts) - Gose (7pts) - jays4life19, Atothe, G-Snarls
  12. Nobody is gonna forget that guarantee until Collins gets a save one day, or he retires. There's always injuries in the pen, a day off for the closer and the hits or 4th guy down the chart will get a chance and luck out a save. That's probably how Timmy is going to have to get it, and he has all kinds of time to do it.
  13. I like what he said. In context , they were talking about whiners always having something to whine about, then mentions "bluejaysmessageboard.com" and says, "go there, look at some of the garbage that's posted there....there's some sharp people on there, but mostly it's a hot pile of garbage... Just like real life." Bang on IMO.
  14. Not when their pitching staff and a whole leaves a lot to be desired.
  15. I don't think he can learn what he needs to learn in AAA. You can't learn to adjust to great breaking balls in AAA since pretty much nobody there has great breaking balls.
  16. Pretty much all of Buerhle's success this year is due to his strand rate being higher than his career norms and hit HR/FB being about a third of his career rate. Everything else lines up with his career norms within a few points. There's reason to expect regression, but maybe this is the year he rally outperforms his peripherals all year
  17. Couldn't resist it. Had a great one last night that I just didn't post. Was when Colome was in and walking guys and then the jays get a hit....the joke was... "Jays are scoring by taking walks and hitting HR... So a little of Colome and a little of column B"
  18. Wonder how the man in white relayed the Balk sign in to Edwin? That guy rules.
  19. Can totally understand why he did it, but Ramos screwed it up by trying to field what would have been an easy grounder to Escobar. So yeah, suck it maddon
  20. Look how many of these names are in the top 14. Pretty much sealed the pick for me when I saw 5 of the top 6 taking Lind. Gotta keep pace and he was good value
  21. On the jays... Could easily argue Melky, Bautista, Edwin, and Buerhle are having AS calibre years, whether they make though is up to the stupid public.
