  1. If.... If..... Yes goins would be valuable at .250/.300, but when he can barely do it at AAA at 25 and isn't even doing it right now in AAA at 26, there's really No reason to expect he's capable of it in the majors.
  2. Yeah it will certainly be interesting, targeting rentals isn't really AA's MO
  3. Reyes (4pts) - vdub, Angrioter,baseballsss, Gen.Disarray, johnhavok Melky (2pts) - Bautista (1pt) - G-Snarls Eddy (1pt) - bowld, flafson Lind (3pts) - Jonn, GD, Dylan, Orgfiller, jays4life19, Spanky99, Chappy Navarro (5pts) - Lawrie (1pt) - Juan (2pts) - Atothe, BBBB Gose (8pts) -LetTheBallFly, wilko
  4. Very dangerous assertion. Pitching is volatile as hell.
  5. Wouldn't be a problem for AA, apparently he's targeting rentals this year
  6. Ranges from about 1100 per month in the low minors, and AAA salaries start at 2150 per month when it's your first year there. The only real money being made in the minors is when teams sign guys who have played in the majors before on minor league deals. they earn 6 figures generally, but it's low 6 figures. The up and coming kids make sweet f*** all and unless they have a huge signing bonus or a wealthy family background, they don't make enough to be considered above the poverty line.
  7. Jack Z couldn't make those trades even if he wanted too, he spent every spare cent they had on Cano to get them an extra 3 or 4 wins.
  8. Maybe Machado's actions are a disgrace, but so's your beard Norris. You look like a homeless hippie.
  9. Yeah they get this way sometimes, seems like they're so intent on working counts they forget to swing at the crushable ones.
  10. I never said it was malicious or bias. Just pointing out facts. Very inconsistant strike zone that favoured the Cardinals was a factor. hutch not pitching well was a much bigger factor.
  11. Not when it's that obvious. If someone shows up for legit conversation, by all means. When it's so obvious they're just trolling... Punt them without prejudice.
  12. Yep. Doesn't matter if we lose this series, just win the next one.
  13. http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/zoneTrack.php?month=6&day=08&year=2014&game=gid_2014_06_08_slnmlb_tormlb_1/&prevDate=0608 Borderline strike calls, 7-3 in favour of StL.
  14. Just need to get them kids signed. Love the approach, but get it done.
  15. At least Oakland is doing us a favour and just raping Baltimore... Now 10-0 in the 5th
  16. Yup. Extra pitches all day for the cards hitters, and calling utter trash as strikes to the jays. Wildly inconsistent on pitches in the same locations from batter to batter
  17. So... Um, where the time where this guys comes to a set position before he delivers the ball with a runner on base? I just saw 4 balks in a row.
  18. One other thing about Hutch... He started the game throwing 89 with the fastball, but by the third was up to 93 consistantly. Maybe he's having some trouble, getting loose
  19. Fair enough, but nobody can frame this ump, it was the most inconsistant strike zone since ... Well... Yesterday's game.
  20. That doesn't change the fact that he needs to learn to take a walk. And it's kinda derpy to "small sample alert" and then use a batting average from an even smaller sample size....
  21. It's legit to attack Navarro for framing, he's really bad at it.
