    He should be a DH now... but that's not happening so I doubt thye finish the year that way either in any scenario

    Yeah. They both have 5 and 10 no trade rights. So the only way they get traded midseason is if the Jays are so far out of it that they would actually agree to waive it to go to a contender. And they'd have to be really far out of it for them to think they don't hve a chance at even a wildcard spot

    I think hit and run vs Jays pitchers is a great idea since nobody seems to want to strike anyone out

    I think a few of the hitters are realy over thinking at the plate right now. Instead of looking for the ball and a location they're trying to guess what the pitcher is going to throw and get crossed up in crucial situations

    It would be nice to have to hit strikes... this umps zone is huge

    And it's even more beautiful when it's played by good players instead of scrubs like Goins, Carrera, Colabello ....

    While I'm not quite as passionate about turfing him as you, his moves this season as a whole have been baffling and it seems like hes just winging it on a daily basis

    Yeah. We know stroman has the stuff, just needs on utilize it better. Sanchez on the other hand has the same great sinker, but doesn't have the mix of secondary stuff that stroman has to even mix in. Change cutter, slider.... he doesn't even have those pitches in his aresenal, just the curve which is decent and doesn't throw enough and 4 seam which he doesn't throw enough. He needs a reliable change and a one of the slider or cutter to be anything more than a mid to back end starter.

    He's 21 in a few days, he needs to be up a level or 2 before he gets into worthy prospect status. Love the numbers, but his age/level isnt ideal. Good to keep an eye on though. What's his stuff like?
