It's a common misconception that the pitching in AA is a higher calibre than AAA. Yes, the very top pitching prospect for a team maybe in AA, but that's usually 1 guy out of entire rotation, with the rest filled out by journeyman minor leaguers who may not even have sniffed AAA. The average age of pitchers in AA last season was over 24 in all 3 AA leagues. Yes, AAA is typically older guys who once we're in the majors and are trying to hang on and get another shot, bUT they could still pitch better than AA rotations as a whole.

I think it's pretty much an established fact that baseballs are juiced. MLB will never admit this of course, like they will never admit to knowingly allowing its players to juice when it benefitted them greatly, and subsequently threw them all under the bus when the winds changed and played dumb about it. If you can't juice the players, juice the balls.

Different looking bench ... meaning... A useful one? -.2 fWAR from those 1146 PAs is vomit inducing. They would project this year as the same, below replacement level. Their replacements project nearly 3 fWAR in about 750 PAs. Anyone trying to say this year's bench is worse (and I know that wasn't your stance by posting that tweet), is a f***ing lunatic.

He also brought another young arm that failed that same year, then got traded to Colorado in the Tulo deal. Also, I'd rather see Jansen get full time action in AAA or AA than be nothing but a backup playing once a week. If they bring him north as a backup, that's essentially giving up on him being a full time player. -
Can't see why player agents are whining about contracts when guys like Hosmer pull down these types if deals.

Okay, but on what are you basing your opinion? Articles you've read about Tulo specifically stating he likes being seen as the go to player on his team and if he's not that guy he feels it disrupts his ability to play? If so, please link them. Otherwise it's just pure speculation with no basis in reality Which, btw if theres even a shrednof truth to your statement of opinion, why would he have waived his no trade clause and accepted a trade to Toronto when he did, knowing full well Jose and Edwin and Martin and Donaldson were already here and he wouldn't be seen as the man? -
