  1. You can't. Since you won you have to make them until they lose or when they lose because you didnt make the GDT, it's your fault. #fanlogic
  2. I had Triggs and Porcello. ... things were looking good early on Porky but it was all uphill from there.
  3. Nice, a low points challenge!
  4. Josh is just watching the future dollar signs dwindle with every DL day this season, unless he spends nearly no more time on it and rakes the s*** out of the ball for the rest of the year.
  5. I'm willing to bet 50 Mauritian rupees you wouldn't be invited if it did.
  6. Dynamite commentary Barker.... sounds like he's pointing at Travis and Grichuk because honestly, who else is even struggling? Stroman I guess but he's not even pitching in this series. Edit, I suppose Smoak could be tossed in there also given his recent woes
  7. Not sure, but I do caution people when ever there's a power spike of a LH hitter in New Hampshire, as it's a very LH homer friendly park. It's 303 down the RF line and only 353 to right center, even shorter than the Yankees f***stick park by 11 and 32 feet respectively. However, that doesn't yet apply to Biggio since they've been on the road so much to start the year, home/away splits are pretty meaningless at this point.
  8. True story. Wonder why he isn't starting though....
  9. Players of the day: Brock Lundquist, Christian Williams, Vlad Jr, Cavan Biggio, Max Pentecost, Honourable Mentions: Samad Taylor, Kevin Vicuna, Chavez Young, Harold Ramirez, Juan Kelly, Rowdy Tellez
  10. Feel free to chirp, as long as you're willing to receive it back As for average age baseball-reference.com has an entire section for all of the minor league levels. You can see the Ave gargle age of hitters and pitchers in every league every year. Technically, Noda is older than league average but by a few months, so it's not crazy. He's too old at that level to be considered a prospect though. 20 is about the max age I'll ever look at for Low A ball, but 19 or younger are the truly legit guys.
  11. 1. He's about league average age for the MWL 2. So are pitchers in the lower level league he was in last year, yet his walk rate has almost doubled. 3. You're retarded. 4. I'm not saying he's a prospect, just that his numbers are interesting.
  12. True, which is why it's interesting. Pruitt I can understand given that he's a CF/speed guy. Not sure if Noda is getting them all on the backend of double-steals, or if the pitching batteries in the MWL are just awful at holding runners. His walk rate is 37%, but his ISO is .083....that's retarded. Not sure what all these pitchers are afraid of
  13. It's probably moreso a balance of investment to reward ratio. On any given minor league team there might be .... what 1 or 2 guys that MIGHT ever make it vs the other 30+ or so guys that won't. For a team to put out the kind of money to support the entire team's players health and wellness (a team that they don't even own) would seem like a lot of sunk cost. At least, that's probably part of their argument... imo it's crazy to seemingly not give a rats ass about anything other than coaching.
  14. Interesting note (to me anyways) Lansing is leading the MWL in steals with 31 and Ryan Noda is tied for the team lead in steals with 7 - Reggie Pruitt also has 7. Neither have been caught yet. I wouldn't have expected a 1b/OF guy to be a base stealer.
  15. Players of the Day: Christian Williams, Ryan Noda, Cavan Biggio, Honourable mentions: Jonathan Davis, Dalton Pompey, Dwight Smith jr, Rowdy Tellez, Tim Lopes
  16. I traded Altuve the offseason before his breakout.....I think that's worse
  17. I don't think it's "playoff performer" issue. Demar just isn't the type of generational talent you need to win in the NBA today. He's be a great #2 or 3 option though.
  18. Please be more sensitive to your verbiage when talking about owning a man. You might trigger someone
  19. Probably the same old thing, money. It's probably a weird dynamic too given that the major league teams don't own the minor league teams their players play for.
  20. I know it's easy to pile on now after 2 straight losses to the Wizards, and the Raps should still win this series.... but it's the same old story. Demar isn't the guy. They will not win a championship with him as "the man"
  21. lol, good then. though Bichette's missing power is mildly concerning.
  22. I took both Stanton and Judge in the Draft kings thing today... it's just too juicy a matchup not to pick on
  23. lol, nice I swapped out Happ for Nelly Cruz
  24. To be fair, the longest shot in that list is Clemens and 3 of them are all but a lock to be on the team next year at some point barring trades or catastrophic injury
