  1. 6 pitches to Judge and none in the strike zone. Great way to pitch him most times... but not when youre up by 6
  2. Welcome back Fisher. Go face Judge, Bellinger and Stanton in your first game back. You got this
  3. Nice! You hangy... he bangy. Stupid to throw a slider after those filty cutters he couldn't handle
  4. Cant really ask for much more from your starter than this. Last pitch was 96 too. Still has the gas after 100+
  5. Ditto for Varsho in your list of fly ball/higher whiff guys
  6. Thats a gorgeous patch. Completely f*cking ruined by a sticker autograph
  7. Assuming he can throw strikes with those pitches first. He didnt fare well in that exact scenario against Cinci, walking that lefty and having to face 2 RHB after.
  8. I unequivocally believe Vlad is the most valuable member of the Jays - when all on-field and off-field things are considered, but... yeah as far as on-field only, Springer has kinda separated himself from the pack, especially over the past month. The top 4 are Kirk, Springer, Vlad and Bo... Kirk and Springer already above 4 fWAR and have an outside chance at 5, Vlad and Bo could both end up above 4.
  9. 09/03/25: Buffalo Bisons released 1B Rainer Nunez. Damn. Elite exit velos but just cannot lift the ball at all. Wonder where he'll catch on next...
  10. Varland had a 67% whiff rate on his fastball ...better throw that curve more! I know ya cant be predictable, but they looked terrible on the heater... they were clearly sitting soft.
  11. Theyre determined to make Varlan spam that curveball even when its obvious they're sitting on it. Some really bad pitch calling here
  12. He's stated that over the past few seasons he was consciously trying to be more of a contact hitter and his approach to go up looking for damage wasn't there. It's back now though
  13. I wonder what Bo's numbers look like in his best 45 game stretch thus season? Fewer HRs and SB probably but the hits, RBI and runs are probably pretty close or higher.
  14. Fisher hasn't spent 15 days down there yet from being optioned on Aug 20. Hopefully just a temporary move until Fisher is eligible to come back up
  15. Don't think hes eligible yet. Sept 4th or 5th is when his 15 days are up from being optioned
  16. Ah okay, just clarifying what you meant then by no major additions, which you meant no internally developed ones. Manoah was an almost but not quite...
  17. Sucks that its costing Loperfido from coming back up though as obviously they'll probably bring Fisher back as the other call-up
  18. Springer and Gausman signings weren't substantial additions?
  19. Their next 3 series are against Houston, Detroit and the Jays. That will be their late season test.
