  1. Trey looking a little shook right now but he got out of it. Relief. Lets get back on the sticks and work Snell again. Getting one back would be huge
  2. Yes. But i kinda agree with Buck, too many sliders. To me it looks like RHB are sitting on it
  3. lame... only 1 decently hit ball this inning and the bases are loaded
  4. Keep working the fastball, looks like RHB are sitting slider
  5. Damn. Got under one he usually hits hard. 30 pitches in the 1st is a pretty good start though
  6. Exactly how we drew it up. Snell vs Varsho with the bases loaded and 2 out.
  7. Early on its clear Snell is wanting to work up with the heater and the ump isnt calling it. Take notes boys.
  8. Nice easy play for Bo to get comfortable at 2b too. That's good Lets get to Snell early. Blow the roof off this place in the 1st inning. Single, BB, 3-run bomb into the 5th deck
  9. Here we go Trey. April 8th, 2025 - you threw your first professional game in A ball and your first batter faced was 19 year old Starlyn Caba. Fast forward 6 months, you're facing baseball Jesus in Game 1 of the World Series. BRING IT
  10. All in all a decent pre-game. Solid anthems, cool flag stuff... next level weird choir stuff. Play f'n ball!
  11. Was just gonna say that. The flag thing they did in the OF for both countries was pretty cool
  12. I really hope nobody boos the US anthem. It's so classless to do that
  13. I mean, I can get behind the idea of what they were going for... something unique and memorable. But seriously, wtf.... that was just weird.
  14. Rating out of 10 on on that weird-ass choir singing before the lineups???? 3/10
  15. Of course not, but if you look at Ohtani, he's merely excellent against LHP (130wrc+) vs top tier superstar against RHP (wrc+ 168). Strikes out more, walks less, SLG is over 100 points lower. Freeman - career-wise 120 wrc+ against LHP vs 151 against RHP. Muncy - 113 vs LHP, 130 vs RHP. I'd take those margins everytime. Muncy has been especially dogsh*t against LHP this season though with a 59 wRC+, 159 vs RHP. Given how the Jays seem to be giving guys different looks this offseason, they might be using different guys in big spots against Ohtani ... first time might be Little, second time might be Fluharty, 3rd time might be Lauer. then Fluharty again, then Lauer and back to Little... something like that. Trying to make sure he gets different looks as often as possible. Feels like Varland is gonna get a shot too given they seem to like using him in every game of the postseason. Seranthony probably matches up more towards the Teoscar part of the lineup.
  16. Ty France is an absolute unit physically for someone under 6 feet tall. but for some reason though he still swings a pool noodle with a 71 for his average swing speed. Quirky numbers for him on defense, 96th percentile range for a 1B. 1st percentile arm.
  17. Yeah, I really don't think Schneider is planning on using France as anything but a pinch hitter. Dodgers have 4 lefty relievers at their disposal in Banda, Kershaw, Dreyer, Wrobleski so you can bet in any important situation later in games with Barger up, one of them is coming in to face him for sure and that's where France and/or Schneider will be used
  18. Highly doubt France starts. He's a pinch hitter at most. He wont be replacing Vlad at any point during a game unless it's a blowout and you're just being ultra-cautious
  19. He was sat plenty down the stretch leading up to the playoffs, but yeah, has been a mainstay since the playoffs started. You're probably right that he's in there. I was just saying there is a logical reason why sitting him could make sense.
  20. Gimenez i can see as the options for SS defense after him are definitely worse defensively. Varsho i can understand sitting against Snell specifically just because Snell murders lefties with strikeouts and Varsho is already prone to swing and miss. PLus, they lose virtually nothing defensively with Straw, and you just shift him to LF or RF later after Varsho enters the game pinch hitting for someone else like France or Schneider.
