  1. I’d send Ryu out again for the 6th.
  2. It’s my mother, so…
  3. Serious question… The person I’m watching the game with just watched Clement hit a HR, then Kiermaier hit that line drive for an out. This person says… “Why can’t they just try hitting it between the IF and OF instead of up in the air where the OF can catch it?” I need a response that isn’t me being a condescending *******, and I’m struggling
  4. Ernie “don’t call me Roberto” Clement. Yes…I know. That’s part of the joke.
  5. It’s s***** umping like this that screws with hitters heads and makes them get away from their game plans
  6. Palmegiani was promoted to Buffalo as well. Orelvis was a double short of the cycle.
  7. ROFL Angel… this guys needs to be put out to pasture
  8. Palmegiani was promoted to Buffalo. Good for him
  9. See what he did there? Didn’t swing at the borderline crap, swung at the meatball. Good result. Me for hitting strategist in 2024. Fire Hudgens
  10. I know that. Just saying he sent Vlad to be a dead duck by 20 feet two days ago when it was obvious he would be out to anyone with eyes, and Vlad is slow. iF you’re going to gamble, gamble on a guy with speed, not a guy who “runs” like a wounded water buffalo
  11. Now that’s one hell of a good approach by Belt
  12. Fight me ya bike
  13. There’s the Angel Hernandez we all know and loathe
  14. I just don’t get why Windmill Rivera wouldn’t send KK, but he sent Vlad the other day a demonstrably worse scenario without a problem.
  15. Hitters can’t control results of course, but they can control their mindset and approach. They will naturally get better results if the swing at pitches not on the border of the zone. yes, it’s easy to say that, but these guys have played ball all their lives, if they haven’t figured out that part yet, they never will. Sure, you get fooled sometimes, that’s part of the game, but too often these guys are just giving away outs by swinging at trash. vlads first and second PAs in this game are exhibits A and B in the good approach/wtf approach
  16. Flexen is a guy who can’t blow you away, so just sit soft and adjust to the fastball if needed. That should be the approach
  17. Guess Vlad used up his one good swing decision per game already
  18. What a f***ing idiot
  19. Vlad won’t see a fastball unless it’s way out of the zone, sit soft
  20. You’re right, shoulda said getting good results is much easier, not hitting in general.
  21. Two pop-ups from the Babe. Not cool bro
  22. Getting good results is hard, having the right mental approach is easy
  23. Davis having trouble picking up the slider
  24. I think Schneider hits a double here
