  1. Actually, now that Ive looked into Kim a bit more... career-wise he's basically Clement but walks 3 times more and strikes out 1.5 times as much. Better D from Kim overall but this year its about a wash, if Clement can be this good defensively going forward.... Kim is pretty redundant.
  2. Luckily. Less than he should given the lack of power. He'll be 29 next season...probably minimum 4 year deal. His agent will probably look at the Chapman extention as a benchmark, but he won't get that I don't think. Somewhere between a 4 and 6 year deal between 80-120 I think, and i might be high. Hard to peg those lower power, plus everything else guys.
  3. Yeah, I mean mets fine if only a perfect throw, catch and tag nails you, and luckily it was a garbage throw... but even an average throw would have gotten him by 3 strides.
  4. Why are people freaking out over TJ Friedl bunting in the 7th down 2-0 to break up a combined perfect game?
  5. Ha-song Kim has played a bit of 3rd. Plus defender there too. Not a massive power guy but probably 15ish HRs. 5 fwar guy
  6. Nice, Clase 1st major league HR. 2 run job
  7. Bingo. It was obvious he wasn't good months ago, but you keep him around right up till the game before his bonus would kick in, because that's the point it must have become clear to the FO that he wasn't good? Sure, it doesn't matter for the onfield at this point, but it could have mattered 4 months ago and would have enabled him to try and catch on somewhere else. It's a classless move from ownership for no reason other than saving 200k.
  8. Clements defense is very suspect. Lots of opportunities missed tonight for him to stop the bleeding and he couldn't. Not errors...but plays that need to be made.
  9. Yeah, he hasn't been great. But..that wasn't obvious long before he got within 4 PA of 200k I guess. It's a joke really.
  10. Rowdy Tellez DFA by the Pirates just 4 PA shy of a $200,000 incentive. Classy org.
  11. Its interesting to see how people view teams who end up with similar records when the season is done. Seems to me that the timing of their losing streaks matter.
  12. Good. Now start throwing money at all the guys working for the Rays and Driveline and get them in house.
  13. Yup. Probably gonna get some mvp votes too which will another argument in his favour. It's fine though, a guy like him should be making 30 million per year in the economics of today's MLB
  14. Arb4, but who's counting really?
  15. Jays have the 4th worst record in the league? Remember it's no longer AL/NL priority based on what team he played for just reverse winning percentage league wide.
  16. As incredible as it is for a 50-50 season, just take a sec and also realize...it's also the first 50-30, and 50-40 season...and just the 5th 50-20 season. He didn't just make history, he f***ing destroyed it.
  17. Most calories burned in a day is BMR. Exercise is just the only factor a person can control, but ya can't go nuts on it when you're trying to heal
  18. Problem there is he didn't need to try for the DP, should have just picked it up and went to third to take the out instead of trying for a rushed DP
  19. Far more annoying than Pigf***er McGee.
  20. It wasnt that bad. THe errors were costly but, most of the hits given up were flares and dinks...the pen got lit the f*** up though. Not surprising given the arms in it at this point. Bassitt's errant throw was uncharacteristic and Clement just tried to do too much rather than taking the sure out.
  21. Yerry Rodriguez went unclaimed so has been outrighted to AAA
  22. Yeah but for you it's not a choice really. It's just what is.
  23. It's easier to hate what he doesn't understand.
  24. Reports on his defense are generally positive.
  25. Berrios peripherals are actually...not bad. His HRs given up are really the only massive problem.
