  1. With the caveat of him being healthy, does it make sense to include Mark Buehrle on the ALCS roster? I think he's a lot more of a weapon than a guy like Tepera in the type of situations where they would be used. We know who the innings are going to in close games, but he could be an asset in a game where we're down a couple of runs and need some innings. If he is going well, maybe we use him as a situational lefty. Just a thought... Here's some numbers of Royals lefties vs Buehrle: Hosmer: 7/26 (.269), 0 HR, 0 BB Moustakas: 1/13 (.077), 0 HR, 0 BB Gordon: 9/36 (.250), 1 HR, 3 BB Morales: 3/12 (.250), 0 HR, 0 BB Dyson: 0/9 (.000), 0 HR, 0 BB
  2. I remember that, I was 13 years old or something on my old compaq desktop. The only people I remember from there are gibbers, kirksaw, winiwalt and mac33 (never came to new forum), maybe ECJF a couple of others.
  3. I'm sure I'm over analyzing this but whatever. I think it will be good to get out of Toronto for a couple of games after all of this drama and excitement. The guys have looked a lot more comfortable on the road to begin with and it will be good to play in Kansas City where they can relax a bit without being hounded by media and fans.
  4. Rusty Cun....Rusty Kunt..zz
  5. Cheers slugger. We've all suffered a lot of years together, but this makes it worth it. On the topic of the old forum, this one is also for our late friend Kirksaw. I'm not religious, but if he is watching somewhere then we're thinking of him.
  6. Chris Colabello all day long for me. He always seemed to get a big hit when their pitchers were rolling and the D was fantastic.
  7. It's not going to matter if we're up by 6 runs. We've hit Keuchel fairly well in the past, but that Royals rotation is a lot weaker.
  8. Gibby is the f***ing man. No more questioning him. That is all.
  9. Go Royals! Those pitchers are good hittin'
  10. You play your 2 best relievers. Absolutely the right move. They won the game too, give Gibby all of the credit in the world.
  11. Oh I'm sorry, the crowd had no effect on the players. The fact that the Jays players think it helps means nothing. Fool...
  12. How is Sam Dyson still pitching? Bannister is a complete and total fool.
  13. The crowd is going to get criticism, but they got into the head of the Rangers players. There's no other way to explain the 4 misplays.
  14. I'm f***ing done, I'm not watching this. The major leagues are a disgrace.
  15. On previous pitches, Choo's arm is not fully extended and the bat isn't out of the batters box. On the pitch play in question, it is and his bat is out of the box. Is that worth considering?
  16. You simply can't make a call like that call in the playoffs.
  17. Choo's arm is full extended, bat isn't in the batters box.
  18. Sanchez getting 80% groundballs, no walks, 10 K's in his last 9 outings.
  19. How does a runner from third not score on the Martin flyball? The bases would be loaded with no outs you f***ing fool.
  20. Perhaps. I don't necessarily disagree. I'm just saying that their hired gun wouldn't exactly be dominating us if he had the same strike zone as Stroman. Edit: and if they didn't miss the most obvious balk I've seen in a long time.
  21. Martin's flyout would score a run and Goins didn't get to bat, if you want to pretend each event happens in a bubble.
  22. Get up Estrada right f***ing now, this is no time to show confidence in an ineffective Stroman.
