  1. People here don't like Grichuk, but I've always kind of liked his personality. That's an amazing song choice.
  2. I'm sure there have been some, but this might be the most incompetent replay call we have seen in Jays history. I was so angry, I broke some things.
  3. Davis helped himself by keeping low and not making any other obvious effort to interfere. It was a normal slide, clearly within the base path, albeit at the edge.
  4. The correct call was made if you interpret the rules by the letter, but we haven't always seen that. Remember the Bautista call against Tampa where he also touched second base?
  5. There is no force at second. That part should be clear at least.
  6. Davis was obviously, indisputably able to touch the base. Unless I misunderstand the rule then he should be safe.
  7. I thought it was funny. Anti-vaxxers are idiots.
  8. 8:45 not happening per Jamie Calpbell
  9. That's part of it for sure, but the other cities in the North are a mess. It probably won't last after Covid, but CBC listed the Soo as the hottest real estate market in Ontario. My house value has doubled in 6 months. Never in my life did I think that would ever happen.
  10. Toronto should be even higher than that. They cancelled a couple of vaccination clinics in my community so the vaccines can be redirected to hot spots. We haven't even had a death yet, but it is still frustrating.
  11. I'm glad we didn't sign Garrett Richards. He is horrendous. Edit: Another home run, back to back.
  12. I fixed the lineup. It was posted in the thread and I just went with it, my bad.
  13. Time to break this streak. I will update with lineups when available. Semien Bichette Vlad Grichuk Tellez Espinal Davis Jansen Palacios 2B D. Fletcher R DH S. Ohtani L CF Mike Trout R 3B A. Rendon R 1B A. Pujols R LF Justin Upton R SS J. Iglesias R C Kurt Suzuki R RF Juan Lagares R Steven Matz LHP 1-0, 1.42 ERA, 9 SO Matz carried a strong spring into a fantastic Blue Jays debut, tossing 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball with nine strikeouts against the Rangers. Given the Blue Jays' injuries, he's one of the most important pitchers on this roster right now. Jose Quintana LHP 0-0, 10.80 ERA, 5 SO Quintana is looking for a better showing after struggling against the Astros in his Angels debut, allowing four runs in 3 1/3 innings. His start was also moved up to have him go on normal rest with Shohei Ohtani pushed back.
  14. Wheels sure fell off here after three pretty good innings.
  15. Only one that I can recall.
  16. May as well ride Zeuch for 100+ pitches at this point. He's actually pitched quite well despite the results.
  17. Two choppers in front of the plate that Biggio and Kirk couldn't make the play on, then another easy grounded to Bo. Only one hard hit ball the whole inning.
  18. What the f*** is going on? Three consecutive strikes to Walsh, nice pitches.
  19. Two obvious strikes called balls, frustrating.
  20. Who called an outfield of Palacios, Davis, and Biggio in the offseason.
  21. One line drive in 8 batters is hardly a bad result from a pitcher. Nine out of ten times, Zeuch already has 2 scoreless innings. This was just a perfect storm.
  22. A strikeout, three weak ground balls, two lazy fly balls, and one well hit ball. Four runs. f***
  23. Thanks Bo, that's entirely on you.
  24. What a horseshit inning. Zeuch has recorded six outs already.
