  1. Who has you know who? They probably undervalue him
  2. The Phillies clinch before the Jays. Would’ve been flamed for that in March
  3. Alek Thomas definitely the better asset than Varsho. At least he’s only 23 and could possibly turn into something. Same as Varpooo now
  4. Ok. Next game watch out for Biggio
  5. Biggio creeping hard to .700 OPS. This is where he usually shines for you guys
  6. That was pretty anti-climatical
  7. Definitely don’t have the matching desire to win, or they probably would’ve
  8. Yeah, this is a couple months now of atrociously bad at the plate
  9. If you win it, people will think think it was rigged. Luckily you’re not the kind of guy that cares about those things. BTS would probably do a re-draw if he won, so he didn’t win anymore.
  10. Oswald and Oswaldo hitting next to each other. Definitely a statistical anomaly
  11. This kind of thing is usually famous last words
  12. Muggy was a degenerative back I thought that started it all. Trout has something like to going on now Whoever has him in fantasy should sell. I’d probably pay .65 on the dollar
  13. It was really popular, I’m sure if there’s a team that’s out, someone would pick it up
  14. The same guy that made the list seems like he probably had Toronto at the bottom pre-renovation
  15. I will admit my last visit was going back some years, pre-renovation obviously. As for the Yankees, it’s got a strange vibe. They tried to copy the old stadium vibe and so it’s just a little weird. Lacks the thing that makes Fenway a good place to see a game, despite the 100yo stadium part
  16. I would wager external objective rankings have TB and Toronto at the bottom
  17. I haven’t been to Cincy, but have been to all the others and they are much better places for a ball game if you take away the BJ fan part
  18. I’ve never ventured outside the harbor area, so to me, that’s Baltimore. So ok in my book. A lot of stadium you walk a block and it’s sketchy
  19. Toronto and Tampa are the leaders for worst stadium experience imo.. gap to anywhere else I’ve been
  20. Were you upset they didn’t have a proper selection of lattes and couscous in the concessions?
  21. I actually normally hate big cities. I like the vibe about Boston. I’m sure there is a slightly higher percentage of “toxic white males” than some other cities, but it’s nothing close to taking away from the city. I know there’s a few groups I’m not fond of as, but a little more than normal isn’t going to move the needle in any given city If it wasn’t for winter, I’d consider settling in/around Boston long-term
  22. If he throw all his trades in a pot, I’m not sure you could say he’s bad. His worst trade and best trade (Turner the former. Tatis the latter), were around the same time and cxl each other out. Usually the big signings have ownership involvement and the owner wanted to push payroll limits to put a WS team on the field. They’re still a contender next year. I’m not sure where SD would be if there wasn’t the ownership and GM they’ve had. My guess would be something like Detroit though
  23. Hey WAR guy, Machadi and Bogey were worth 8 win this year, that’s $90+ million in nerd money, right? Do you think it’s a big loss that they draft 15th instead of 8th? What FA would they get this year? You’re saying they shouldn’t anyway. So the team should suck this year, suck the next, when should they win? Good luck selling that to a city that isn’t known for baseball fandom
  24. I actually just read the article. As a Jay fan, you can feel the pain on those close games. 0-12 in extras is rough
  25. You could call the prospects they traded for Soto, Snell, Musgrove, and Darvish a word salad. Most wouldn’t recognize any of the names. Most people would’ve given the extension to Tatis. Just hasn’t come together for them. They really built revenue and got people coming out to the the ballpark though. Now they’ll still have some big names but will be a little more reserved about it, apparently. We’ll see what actually ends up happening
