Geez Spanky, ever since you mushed SF, it’s been all downhill
  2. Yes, I object to the + bc AL gets a boost from having worse hitters.
  3. Whatever… trolls and regulars alike complained about how boring the Bluejays were this year. Couldn’t hit for s***.. no one was shocked they couldn’t score runs in PS, now you better not say they werent an offensive powerhouse. Ok

The lost Cousins for season looks like
  5. Fantasy baseball. You know the leagues you joined where I’ve risen from the ashes of a rebuild
  6. In any event, .830 OPS to .780 is a big drop. If that’s a few % pts lower on wRC+, I don’t using that stat in this case. .780 OPS in fantasy is almost replaceable. .830 you got a keeper As a fantasy guru, I have an idea what a big bat is
  7. The + is the problem I think? I’m not claiming to know. Obviously there’s an adjustment if Walker .830 OPS is almost same as Vlad’s .780 or whatever Top AL hitters did just fine. Term is also a conservative and should be against the principle of adding to Vlads stats. It’s saying, there wasn’t enough good hitters in the AL, so let me give you something for free
  8. Though I was wrong against positional adjustment, I’m not a fan of league adjusts. They’re using the same ball. Mlb changes its balls and that can explain yearly changes, but affects both leagues. Top guys in AL hit just fine. There’s not better Aces in the AL. Not a fan of using wRC+ to determine big bats. Needs to be OPS
  9. We don’t have a comparable bat to Moreno’s situation. Usually I wouldn’t give much credence to splits, but with rookies, one can say maybe they figured something out. I’m consistent with this because I thought Grayson counted as a big arm. Wasn’t right on that one
  10. Again, this is just lazy grade school “burns”… Nobody is going to build a roster to be the favorite to beat the Braves. It’s a matter of giving yourself a punchers chance
  11. I’m staying quiet until I start using a high enough dose of Adderall to be motivated enough to dive into some theories I have that hitting depth is not preferable to being top heavy. It’s already established fact this is the case with pitching. Well I hope it is
  12. When you see his illegitimate son, who now probably found his way to the needle, they had a nice base to work with though. It’s like the black people that have never worked out a day in their life and they take their shirt off and they’re ripped
  13. The problem Jim is there’s a bunch of GMs that know about building a playoff roster. Philly has a roster built to win, ATL has a roster built to win, Tex has one, Houston has one.. all you can do is keep up with the Jones’ like AZ did. Take your chances When you go into the playoffs with limp ass noodle bats, you go home real quick
  14. Resend the trade, candy ass
  15. Most of the teams that went anywhere rode their horses. Jays are stupid
  16. They traded the wrong guy and got the wrong target. Double whammy
  17. Thomas > Varsho. Whoever reputable that wants to take my bet $50 Thomas has a higher OPS next year, step on up. Venmo bet only. No check in the mail.
  18. At some point Carter should lead off. I get it’s late in the game so to speak, the postseason, but still
  19. Swing the bat Biggio
  20. Too of the order. They’ll get something here
  21. If you win the division (other than Central), you get to play in the second round. One less chance to get bounced from randomness. See how that works
  22. I don’t think you’re grasping the other side. In sports, you are mostly evaluated on results. It may have been perfectly reasonable to assume Varsho would be a 5-6 WAR player. I know that was certainly a lot of people’s projections here. Nobody cares what the March projection was in October. This also isn’t our job. We aren’t paid to determine if Kirk should be traded, if there’s reasons to believe Springer is declining, Vlad may not bounce back, etc.. that’s for a GM to decide and be accountable for going into a season. Same when they sign a FA. In any business I know, the leaders are responsible for results. Widely Missing projections three years in a row is luckily a position I’ve never been in
  23. Where do I report a mod for subtle racism?
  24. Yeah, of course. I think prospects that you draft have more value than their worth as a pick. You can definitely use them as a currency. It’s just when you look at some full drafts, there’s not a lot of needle movers some years, outside say a couple in the Top 5.
  25. I feel like when he raises his leg, the pressure would be most on his hamstring side, idk. Don’t care enough to watch it again lol
