    I won’t say what I got on my SAT as you wouldn’t believe it, but yeah, I had bad grades and had to start out in community college, than an easy state school for the rest. I never brought a book home from 6-12 grades. Always scraped by in hs and college on exam scores and papers. Took a lot of 0s for assignments I never did. The school is for my kid though d-bag

    If I had $60k, I’d pay for 1 year of school with it. If I didn’t have to pay for school, I’d probably treat myself to $100k+ BMW 8 series. One thing I wouldnt do, is spend it on porn. All free porn for me.

    It needs to be stated again, everyone has their own idea what a good GM is. To the nerds, you need to sell high on any over performing asset to come out ahead on future WAR/$. Some teams, especially big market and super successful teams, may not be as concerned with this. They’re winning now (and not just Bluejay “winning”), and maybe less willing to trade for a future who won’t help now and may never help later. Every team gets a boatload of picks every year to try to restock their farm.

    Padres got f***ed on their by deal, like some other teams forced to slash. They had a plan in place. Bought the stars to bring in a lucrative tv deal, on top of the gate draw. How is Tampas revenue doing, winning all those games with a boring ass roster all the time, that’s built for nerd envy? Edit: now that the owner is dead though. Who knows how that’s going to play out. You’d think it’s going to start getting managed like a business more than a passion/vision.

    As usual, you guys just can’t understand anything other than the number 1 and 2. Jays are run like a business. Other teams are run without the bottom line being so important. You can’t understand the diff?

    90% of the time, but not here. Honestly I’ve defended many of the 10+ year contracts but that’s when it’s an owner that’s of the Mark Cuban mold, committed to winning if its means seeing $0 at the bottom line and growing the brand. Jays are bean counters and I prefer they stick to the 4-6 year deals
